Collaboration with a Top 40 Asian and Top 8 Korean University Reaffirms Dai Nam University’s Superior Facilities and Learning Environment.

“Dai Nam University has excellent facilities and an inclusive learning environment that aligns with the high standards of modern education. We highly value this collaboration, not only for its potential for mutual growth but also for its ability to foster a deeper relationship between our two institutions and nations” - Vice President for International Affairs at Kyung Hee University, Kim Jong Bok said, during the signing ceremony between Dai Nam University and Kyung Hee University held in Hanoi.

This event provides the university more international recognition while also providing new opportunities for students.

By partnering with Kyung Hee University - ranked 236th among the top 3,000 universities around the world, Dai Nam University (DNU) has taken a significant step towards internationalizing its education, creating numerous job opportunities, and enhancing the competitiveness of students in the global labor market.

Students from both universities will have the opportunity to participate in exchange programs, studying short-term or long-term at their partner institution.

"Collaborating with Kyung Hee University is a crucial first step toward achieving higher educational standards and advancing Dai Nam University's overall development. This serves as a force for our institution to continuously improve the quality of our education and build a strong regional, international presence" affirmed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hong, Rector of Dai Nam University.

 

Researchers from both universities will collaborate on research projects and publish articles in international journals.

Key areas of cooperation

Two universities will jointly develop and implement educational programs.

According to the signed Memorandum of Understanding, Dai Nam University and Kyung Hee University will cooperate in the following areas:

Exchange of faculty to enhance the professional expertise and international teaching experience of faculty from both universities.

Exchange of students (6 months) at the undergraduate level (3-5 students with TOPIK 3 or higher per semester). Graduate students with appropriate majors from Dai Nam University will also be admitted to Kyung Hee University.

Students studying at Kyung Hee University will receive support for tuition and living expenses depending on the scholarship they receive. 

Additionally, the two universities will collaborate to organize workshops and cultural exchanges for staff, faculty, and students.

 

This partnership brings numerous benefits to Dai Nam University students, especially providing them opportunities to study in an international environment. Students will have access to modern education, advanced teaching methods, and the state-of-the-art facilities of their partner institution. Furthermore, students will also get the chance to advance their foreign language skills, especially Korean. They also can expand their network by connecting with international students. 

 

With this collaboration, Dai Nam University affirms its position as one of Vietnam's leading private universities, continuously enhancing the quality of its education and expanding international cooperation.
