Dai Nam University and Central Hanoi Ear, Nose, and Throat Hospital have recently signed a cooperation agreement, marking a significant step forward in the strategy to develop high-quality medical human resources. Accordingly, students from Dai Nam University's Medical program will have the opportunity to experience clinical practice at one of the country's leading specialized healthcare facilities.
Practical-oriented training environment
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principle of Dai Nam University, emphasized: “Dai Nam University is always committed to providing students with the best practical learning environment. Central ENT Hospital, with its team of experienced doctors and modern facilities, will be an ideal working environment for students to learn and develop their professional skills”.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tuan Canh - Director of Central ENT Hospital affirmed: “Our hospital encourages Dai Nam University in sending Medical students for practice training. In the future, to achieve more effective collaboration, we hope that both institutions make efforts, and work more closely together to ensure the highest quality of training”.
Intensive practical training
In February 2025, 88 Medical students from Dai Nam University will officially begin a 2-week internship program at the Central ENT Hospital. According to the Associate Professor, People’s Doctor, Dr. Hoang Duc Hanh - Head of Medical Faculty at Dai Nam University:
“Students will participate in practical sessions both in the morning and afternoon, gaining direct exposure to clinical and paraclinical departments. This is a valuable opportunity for students to acquire professional knowledge and practical skills under guidance of leading doctors and experts in the field”.
With the signed cooperation agreement, Central ENT Hospital become a practical training facility for Medical students at Dai Nam University; alongside the university’s other leading partner hospitals, such as Thanh Nhan Hospital, Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital, Xanh-pon Hospital, Ha Dong General Hospital, Ha Dong Traditional Medical Hospital, among others.
The professors guiding practical sessions are high-level experts, including specialists at the I and II levels, Master’s degree holders. PhD holders, Associate Professors, and Professors. Students will practice in clinical and paraclinical departments, as well as real hospital rooms, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
Promoting research and Enhancing Training Quality
The signing ceremony opens up opportunities for scientific research between the two institutions, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong shared: “We hope that this partnership will create an environment where students, faculty members, and medical professionals from both sides can exchange experiences, knowledge and develop applied research projects”.
