The No. 1 university in the Midwest region of the United States has collaborated with Dai Nam University

Expanding cross-border study and employment opportunities for students, Dai Nam University (DNU) continues to sign a training cooperation agreement with Creighton University - the No. 1 university in the Midwest region of the United States.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hong, Rector of Dai Nam University, affirmed: "The signing with Creighton University continues to expand the international partnership map of Dai Nam University. This cooperation opens up many new potentials and opportunities for both sides in sharing knowledge, experience and training to create rich and diverse academic programs for students."

Dr. Pham Van Hong emphasized the school's efforts to implement the education internationalization strategy.

Dr. Rene Padilla - Vice Provost for Global Engagement, Creighton University said: Creighton University has a close relationship with many Fortune companies and large business communities at home and abroad. Each year, Creighton students have access to thousands of job and internship opportunities through the school's partnerships with local, national and international organizations.

Creighton University is in the top 1/3 of the best public universities in the US according to U.S. News & World Report in 2023-2024 and is ranked #1 among Midwestern Universities for 16 consecutive years.

Dr. Rene Padilla said that Creighton University is willing to welcome Dai Nam University students to study and experience.

Important contents in the cooperation of the two universities 

With the signed memorandum of agreement, Dai Nam University and Creighton University agreed to cooperate in the following aspects: Cooperation on student exchange programs between the two institutions. Dai Nam University students can register for any program at Creighton University for which the student is linguistically and academically qualified. Furthermore, Dai Nam students also have the opportunity to participate in programs at the Intensive English Language Institute (IELI) at Creighton.

In addition, the two sides also cooperate on a faculty exchange program, helping Dai Nam lecturers have the opportunity to teach, do short-term or long-term research, and participate in many different academic activities at Creighton. In contrast, Creighton University will also send its lecturers and students to Dai Nam to exchange, study, and work. The number of lecturers and students exchanged each year will be specifically agreed between the two schools.

During the meeting, the two sides also discussed in-depth about opportunities to cooperate in training and developing the Fintech (Financial Technology) discipline for Dai Nam University; Including training of trainers and upskill training for those studying and working in the Fintech field.

In addition, Creighton University is willing to cooperate with Dai Nam University on training in health fields such as Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing. This is also one of the strengths of Creighton University; Among them, Creighton University ranked 31st in terms of the University with the best Nursing major in the United States.
