The "Speak Up Dai Nam" hosting competition, organized by the Faculty of Communication, Dai Nam University, has gradually established itself as a prestigious platform for students passionate about hosting in Hanoi and the Northern region over four seasons . Through the competition, many promising MCs have been discovered and nurtured, contributing to shaping a generation of confident, creative, and distinctive presenters in the digital media landscape. In 2026, Speak Up Dai Nam officially returns with the theme "Own The Mic – A Journey to Awaken the Warhorse," offering total prizes worth nearly 20 million VND along with professional certificates; opening up many opportunities for contestants to network with renowned editors and MCs from television stations and leading companies in the media industry.

The Speak Up Dai Nam 2026 competition will take place from April 10, 2026 to May 23, 2026, with 3 rounds:

- Preliminary Round - Departure (April 10 - May 4, 2026 , Online Competition ): Contestants submit videos lasting from 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds, introducing themselves and showcasing their hosting skills on a topic announced by the Organizing Committee. At the end of this round, the Organizing Committee will select a maximum of 30 contestants for the Semi-finals, including the 20 contestants with the highest professional scores and the 10 most popular contestants on the Fanpage, ensuring no duplicate entries.

- Semi-final Round - Challenge (May 6th - May 15th, 2026 , Offline Competition ) : Contestants will randomly draw pairs, deliver presentations based on a given topic, and handle unexpected situations from the judging panel. At the end of the Semi-final round, the judging panel will select the 10 best contestants to advance to the Final.

- Final Round - Success (May 23, 2026 , Offline Competition ): The top 10 finalists will go through 3 stages. Stage 1: Contestants will perform a segment showcasing their personal style in a self-chosen format, revealing their hosting style and stage presence. Stage 2: Contestants will draw lots and handle unexpected situations presented by the judging panel to assess their reflexes and improvisational skills. Stage 3: The top 3 outstanding contestants will participate in a Talkshow hosting competition, taking on the role of host and leading a conversation with guests on a current affairs, social, or media topic.

Target participants: Students from academies, universities, and colleges in Hanoi and the northern provinces, aged 18 to 25 years old.
