5 years of Automotive Engineering Technology Faculty, Dai Nam University: Journey from origin to courage

On November 18, 2025, the Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology, Dai Nam University (DNU) solemnly held its 5th Anniversary Ceremony. The event marked the milestone of maturity of a young faculty, full of courage, aspiration and innovation, which is day by day affirming its position in the engineering technology training system in Vietnam.

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Council congratulated and sent a message of new development phase to teachers and students of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology.

The ceremony took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere with the presence of representatives of the School Council, the School Board of Directors, leaders of faculties - departments - offices - institutes - centers, teachers, students of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology and especially many partner businesses - those who have accompanied and created the solid progress of the faculty throughout the past journey.

5 YEARS – FROM THE DIFFICULT BEGINNING TO THE FIRST SWEET FRUITS

In the early days, the Faculty of Automotive Engineering faced many difficulties: limited facilities, a small teaching staff, and little management experience. However, with the dedication of teachers, the determination of staff, and the eagerness of students to learn, the faculty gradually built a serious, humane, and creative learning environment.

Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Head of the Department of Automotive Engineering Technology summarized the 5-year journey of building and developing the department.

The impressive numbers after 5 years are clear proof of that effort:

• More than 60 high-quality staff and lecturers
• 3 modern workshops with a total area of over 1,200m²
• More than 1,000 students from first to fifth year
• Wide network of cooperating businesses, regularly accompanying in training and recruitment

A young faculty, but has written a beautiful story - a story of aspiration, of perseverance and of a kind educational philosophy.

The presence of many businesses at the celebration is a testament to the training model that Dai Nam University steadfastly pursues: Practical learning - Practical work - Practical career.
