These are commonly used phrases but many students do not understand them, which can easily lead to incorrect decisions when applying for admission or deciding to change their wishes when choosing a major.

Below is a detailed explanation from the Admissions Council to help you understand the nature and things to know!
1. Floor score: Also known as the input quality threshold, this is the minimum threshold that universities and colleges use as a basis for admission, from which schools are not allowed to admit candidates with exam results lower than the input quality threshold. For example: If the candidate's score + Priority bonus points are less than the floor score, the candidate will not be considered for admission. Another note is that the floor score does not apply to students who are admitted based on their academic records.
2. Admission threshold: This is the score that Universities and Colleges will announce within a specific period of time. This is the score that candidates will use to know whether they are qualified to apply to the school or not. From there, they will decide whether to change their application or not.
03 admission methods for Dai Nam University in 2023:
- Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the high school graduation exam results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.
- Method 2: Use the results of 03 subjects from the 12th grade high school study results according to the registered combination for admission consideration. For Medicine and Pharmacy, the 12th grade academic performance must be classified as Excellent or the high school graduation score must be 8.0 or higher and the total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination must be 24 points or higher. Nursing must have the 12th grade academic performance classified as Good or higher and the combination of 3 subjects must be 19.5 points or higher.
- Method 3: Direct admission for Sports Management (major in Sports Economics and Marketing) according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Dai Nam University.
