More than 200 Pharmacists graduated from Dai Nam University work at an enterprise

“According to statistics, there are more than 200 Pharmacists graduated from Dai Nam University currently working at FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (JSC) nationwide; more than 40 people are holding the positions of Managing Director, Drugstore Manager; 01 person has been the Regional Business Director since graduation in 2019 ...".  Mr. Nguyen Tan Vy - Human Resources Director, FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical JSC shared at the Signing Ceremony of Cooperation between Dai Nam University and FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical JSC.

With an aim to materialize a strong training ecosystem, allowing students to have maximum practical experiences at enterprises, and implement the mission "Training students to be dynamic and socially responsible pharmacists", Faculty of Pharmacy at Dai Nam University always focuses on promoting cooperation with enterprises, creating favorable conditions for students to gain practical experiences to become high quality human resources for businesses and society. Thousands of Pharmacists graduated from DNU are currently working at leading Pharmaceutical companies in Vietnam. Especially, many of them are holding key leadership positions.

On the side of Dai Nam University, the Signing ceremony honorably welcomed the presence of Dr. Le Dac Son – Chairman of University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hong – DNU President; the Heads of functional departments along with the Dean, faculty and students of Faculty of Pharmacy.

On the side of FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical JSC, there were Mr. Nguyen Tan Vy - Human Resources Director; Mr. Bui Van Thai - Head of Human Resources Department; Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong – Leader of strategic partnership group and Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Van – talent acquisition specialist.

Cooperation between Universities and Enterprises is a vital need

Speaking at the Signing ceremony, Dr. Le Dac Son affirmed that Dai Nam University sets a goal to train and provide society with high quality human resources, a force of young & talented intellectuals who have the will to establish themselves in their career and courage to build the nation. Especially, the team of doctors, pharmacists, and nurses are rich in expertise, profession and medical ethics.

“Cooperation between Dai Nam University and FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical JSC would help both sides develop and benefit the country. Dai Nam University has the sufficient conditions to let students experience at enterprises right from the first year. FPT Long Chau could have students of the Faculty of Pharmacy work at its branches during their internship, and recruit them as soon as they graduate and become registered pharmacists. Those who were familiar with the company culture will promote company performance better. This is one of FPT Long Chau's strategic resource planning to develop the company strongly. It is also of great significance and humanitarian to join hands training the young Vietnamese generation to contribute to nation development".

Dr. Le Dac Son emphasized that DNU focuses on the training motto: Enrollment - Training - Graduation - Instant jobs. Only when students have a job related to their field of study will they accomplish the training process.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Vy stated that cooperation between universities and businesses is a necessity in modern education. Enterprises should accompany universities in training so that students have the opportunities to apply prior knowledge into practice at the working environment. 

Accordingly, cooperation between Dai Nam University and FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical JSC will bring benefits to 3 parties. DNU has more reliable places for students to practice and do internships.
