The Faculty of Medicine is one of the specialized faculties within the Health sector - the core training axis of Dai Nam University.
From the early days of its establishment, alongside the training program, the team of lecturers, and the infrastructure facilities serving education, the university leadership has always sought to find and select individuals with extensive experience, expertise, and responsibility to appoint as the head of the faculty. Therefore, Associate Professor, Doctor Hoang Duc Hanh - former Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Health, will officially assume this important leadership position from August 1, 2021.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Duc Hanh, born in 1961, is one of the 18 doctors in the Hanoi healthcare sector (since 1989) to be awarded the title of People's Doctor by the President of the country.
Associate Professor, Doctor Hoàng Đức Hạnh officially joined the Faculty of Medicine at Dai Nam University from August 1, 2021.
Throughout his career, Associate Professor, Doctor Hoàng Đức Hạnh has been a shining example for the entire healthcare sector in Hanoi, with his silent dedication to patients and the community. Particularly, amidst the complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, his dedication was further affirmed when he was appointed to manage the activities of the Hanoi CDC.
On the morning of June 28, 2021, Associate Professor, Doctor Hoàng Đức Hạnh officially received the retirement decision after excellently fulfilling his duties with the Party, State, and People.
With many years of dedication to the healthcare sector, especially in the training of excellent doctors with integrity and compassion, after retirement, Associate Professor, Doctor Hoàng Đức Hạnh continues his dedication in a new capacity - as the Head of the Faculty of Medicine at Dai Nam University.

The Faculty of Medicine at Dai Nam University officially admitted its first intake for the academic year 2020-2021. Evaluate high school transcripts.
Evaluate admissions based on the average scores of the 11th-grade academic year and the 1st semester of the 12th-grade academic year according to the selected subject combination.
Evaluate admissions based on the average scores of the 12th-grade academic year according to the selected subject combination.

Medical program ≥ 24 points and achieving an Excellent academic performance in the 12th grade.
Admission evaluation fee: 50,000 VND/application (Candidates submit the fee when sending hard copies of documents to the university by post or when submitting documents directly at the university)
Associate Professor, Doctor Hoàng Đức Hạnh was born in 1961 in Phong Vân, Ba Vì, Hanoi.
In 1984, he received a Bachelor of Medicine specialized in Pediatrics from Hanoi Medical University.
In 2000, he received a Master's degree in Public Health from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.
In 2010, he received a Ph.D. in Public Health from the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology.
Highest academic degree: Ph.D. in Public Health.
Highest scientific title: Associate Professor.
Highest position before retirement: Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Health.
