At the opening ceremony of the full-time Medical Doctor training program for international students of Dai Nam University on October 10, 208 Indian students put on the first white blouse in Vietnam, and took the Hippocratic oath, a tradition of doctors when entering the medical profession, demonstrating their ethical commitment and responsibility in caring for and protecting human health. The ceremony marked the beginning of a school year, the journey of life and dedication of the future team of doctors.
After enrolling, in addition to learning specialized knowledge, Indian students will learn Vietnamese, participate in community cultural activities and receive comprehensive integration support. Dai Nam University considers this program not only a training activity, but also a cultural bridge between two countries with a spirit of learning and a tradition of humanity.

According to DNU representative, Vietnam is one of the popular choices due to its safe environment, accredited training quality and open career opportunities for international students, especially Indian students.
The International Medical Program at Dai Nam University is designed based on the international medical training program framework, ensuring that graduates are qualified to take the medical practice certification exam in many countries around the world. The school also invites Indian lecturers and doctors to teach directly, in conjunction with a team of Vietnamese doctors in charge of clinical practice at major hospitals in Hanoi.

Students will study in a modern environment with a system of laboratories, medical simulation centers, and opportunities for internships and practice at central and large city hospitals in Hanoi. These are important experiences that help students solidify their expertise, enrich their professional skills and approach the reality of Vietnamese healthcare.
In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in the Global Digital Passport, a "digital learning passport" that records their abilities, skills and career path. From there, they can pursue a medical career in India or transfer to countries such as the UK, US, Australia, Europe...
The school also invested heavily in facilities with a 15-storey dormitory, a pre-clinical center, and the construction of a multi-specialty clinic on campus - a "learning-while-doing" model from the first year.

The Ministry of Education and Training also highly appreciated the model of Dai Nam University as a concrete step in implementing Resolution 568 of the Politburo on developing high-quality medical human resources and internationalizing education. "This is the right direction, contributing to making Vietnam a destination for international students in the medical field, in line with the orientation of educational development in the integration period," said Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Education and Training.
Associate Professor, Dr. Trieu The Hung - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education also emphasized that this model not only trains high-quality medical human resources, but also opens a bridge of sustainable cooperation between Vietnam and other countries in the fields of health and education.
Currently, Dai Nam University has nearly 20,000 students. Welcoming more than 200 Indian students to study helps the school demonstrate the quality of training, and at the same time, is an opportunity for Vietnamese students to exchange, learn and improve their English skills.
