Vietnam Sports Forum 2022: Opportunity to learn about reality and improve the training quality of the Faculty of Sports Economics and Marketing, DNU

With the motto of "continuous learning, teachers must be good for students to be good", the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Sports Economics and Marketing, Dai Nam University pays special attention to training, updating professional knowledge, and enhancing practical experience for the teaching staff. In that spirit, recently, lecturers of the Faculty of Sports Economics and Marketing directly attended and acquired new knowledge about the field at the first Vietnam Sports Forum (VSF) in 2022.

Vietnam Sports Forum 2022 is an event jointly organized by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training and WLS Joint Stock Company under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; aiming to turn sports into a real economic sector that brings high value benefits to businesses, professional athletes and the country's sports industry in general.

The forum was attended by 150 guests who are diplomats, senior managers in the sports field, "bosses" of famous sports teams, domestic and international athletes, senior leaders of large corporations investing in the sports field, leaders of schools and academies training in the field of sports business and marketing...

Speaking before the Conference, Mr. Dang Ha Viet, General Director of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, said: 2022 marks many important steps forward for Vietnamese sports when successfully hosting the 31st SEA Games; towards the 9th National Sports Festival in Quang Ninh and 10 northern provinces/cities, taking place in mid-December 2022.

“With the theme of the International Conference on Professionalization of Sports Business and Marketing, the Vietnam Sports Forum 2022 is an opportunity for state management agencies to create a forum with stakeholders to discuss and grasp the most exciting practices of elite sports; at the same time, creating favorable conditions for businesses in Vietnam to confidently enter the professional sports business market…” , said Mr. Dang Ha Viet.

Sharing after the program, Dr. Dam Quoc Chinh - Head of the Faculty of Sports Economics and Marketing, Dai Nam University said: Participating in forums and practical seminars is an opportunity for lecturers to update their knowledge and experience in sports business and marketing; thereby applying it to the training work of the Faculty.

“This is also an opportunity for the Faculty of Sports Economics and Marketing to meet and expand relationships, aiming to promote training cooperation with leading domestic and international sports enterprises…” , Dr. Dam Quoc Chinh shared.

In the coming time, the Faculty of Sports Economics and Marketing, Dai Nam University will implement many practical experience activities for lecturers, promote training cooperation activities with businesses in the field of physical education and sports.
