The Dai Nam Beauty Contest 2026 is entering its final stage with the grand finale taking place on April 22nd. This year's contest is attracting attention by making practical experience and social responsibility the main criteria for evaluating contestants.

After the application period opened, more than 200 applications were submitted from the very first days of the campaign. Following the preliminary and semi-final rounds with a comprehensive evaluation criteria system, the 20 most outstanding contestants were selected to advance to the final round.

Beyond just appearance, performance skills, or demeanor, the competition rounds are designed to be highly realistic, requiring contestants to demonstrate critical thinking, confidence, and the ability to act on social issues.

One of the highlights of this year's competition is the charitable journey at Xuan Minh Ethnic Boarding School (Ha Giang) - an activity that the Organizing Committee has identified as the core content, rather than just a side event.

In just one week since the launch, 20 contestants directly organized fundraising activities, and the results exceeded the organizers' expectations, raising nearly 100 million VND, more than 4,000 books, cooking 370 meals with meat, giving away 210 gifts, and installing solar-powered lighting for the boarding school.

In particular, from the 4000 donated children's books covering various genres such as storybooks, literature, and science exploration, a space called the "Little Sunshine" Library has been created, giving the children here the opportunity to learn about the world outside.

Remarkably, the entire process, from fundraising to implementation, was handled entirely by the contestants themselves.

Contestant Nguyen Thi Khanh Huyen, a student from the Faculty of Communication, shared: “We realized that maturity isn't about being better or more outstanding than others, but about knowing how to live for others. Seeing the children eagerly anticipating meals with meat, and passionately turning the pages of their books, made me feel that all my efforts were worthwhile.”
