Every admissions season, many excellent students have to put their dream of attending university on hold, not because of a lack of ability, but because their family circumstances do not allow it.

According to Dr. Le Dac Son, Chairman of the University Council of Dai Nam University, this is something a university should not accept.

"No talent should be stopped just because of economic conditions. Universities should be places that open up opportunities for young people with ability and ambition to learn, research, and develop themselves..." said Dr. Le Dac Son.

Based on that perspective, for the 2026 admissions season, Dai Nam University (school code DDN) continues to allocate a scholarship and financial support fund worth 55 billion VND with 13 scholarship policies for new students of the K20 cohort.

Among these, the Talent Scholarship is the most valuable program, offering a 100% tuition fee waiver for the entire course and a living allowance of up to 120 million VND per year (total value ranging from 360 million to 720 million VND, depending on the duration of study in each major).

SCHOLARSHIPS ARE NOT JUST AWARDED FOR ACHIEVEMENT, BUT FOR DESERVING ONE.

As one of the new students receiving the Talent Scholarship, Nguyen Anh Tuan, a former student of Binh Long Specialized High School (Binh Phuoc), decided to choose Dai Nam University to study Control and Automation Engineering Technology, specializing in Semiconductor Technology, despite having the opportunity to study at many other universities.

Anh Tuan boasts an outstanding record, including a Third Prize in the National Physics Olympiad for gifted students in 2024, a First Prize in the Provincial Physics Olympiad for gifted students in 2024, a Second Prize in the Provincial Physics Olympiad for gifted students in 2023, a Silver Medal in the 27th Traditional April 30th Olympic Games, and an Odon Vallet Scholarship for the Southern region in 2024.

Sharing his decision, Anh Tuan said: "The Talent Scholarship is not only a recognition of my efforts throughout my high school years but also gives me more motivation to confidently pursue the path I have chosen."

According to the school, this is not simply a reward for achievements, but an investment in young people with the potential to create value in the future.

The scholarship is open to students with outstanding achievements in academics, scientific research, and student competitions from the provincial, city, national, and international levels.

According to the 2026 policy, students who win prizes at the National Excellent Student Examination, the National Science, Technology and Engineering Competition, or have achievements in international competitions recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training have the opportunity to receive a full scholarship, including 100% of tuition fees for the entire course.

In particular, students may also be considered by the University Council for a living allowance of up to 120 million VND per year if they meet the criteria regarding competence, character, and potential for development.

In addition, the school awards partial scholarships, equivalent to 50% of the tuition fee for the entire course, to students who win prizes in provincial or city-level student excellence competitions, Olympiads, or science and technology competitions; and also expands opportunities for candidates who have participated in national-level student excellence and science and technology competitions.

This also means that scholarships are not awarded based solely on a certificate of merit.

According to the school's representative, in addition to academic achievements, the Council also considers each applicant's learning aspirations, creative thinking, potential for development, and desire to contribute before deciding to award scholarships.

"We're not looking for the most impressive profiles, but rather for young people who are worthy of our investment and long-term partnership," a representative from the school stated.

Granting scholarships isn't difficult; supporting them is the real challenge.

Unlike many scholarship programs that are awarded only once upon enrollment, the Talent Scholarship at Dai Nam University is maintained on a semester-by-semester basis.

To continue receiving the scholarship, students must maintain academic performance with a scholarship GPA of 8.0/10 or higher and a conduct score of 80/100 or higher.

According to the school, this mechanism does not create pressure but aims to build sustainable motivation for learning.

Each scholarship is therefore not just financial support, but also a commitment to support the student throughout their university journey.

Students are given opportunities to participate in scientific research, academic competitions, international exchange programs, business experience activities, and various skill development programs, thereby gradually developing their abilities and individuality.

This is also how Dai Nam University realizes its educational philosophy "Unleash Identity - Illuminate Your Journey": not only helping students enter university, but also accompanying them to grow and be ready to enter the labor market.

INVESTING IN PEOPLE IS THE MOST MEANINGFUL INVESTMENT.

A school can build more lecture halls with its financial resources. But a talented student who has to stop because of tuition fees may not get a second chance.

For Dai Nam University, scholarships are therefore not simply a recruitment policy, but a commitment to investing in people. Because every young person given the opportunity to study today can become a doctor, engineer, entrepreneur, teacher, or researcher who contributes to society in the future.

That is also why, in addition to the Talent Scholarship, in 2026 the School will continue to implement 12 other scholarship policies for various groups such as students with excellent entrance exam results, students from disadvantaged backgrounds, children of those in the education, healthcare, and armed forces sectors, students with athletic talent, and those with English language skills...

According to the school's representative, the goal is not to award scholarships to as many people as possible, but rather to ensure that each policy reaches the right people at the right time and truly creates opportunities for learners.

In addition to the scholarship and financial aid fund worth 55 billion VND, the school continues to commit to stabilizing tuition fees throughout the entire course, expanding its network of businesses to connect students with job opportunities, offering international semesters, and providing a modern, happy learning environment to help students develop comprehensively in knowledge, skills, and character.
