Integrating Theory with Practice: DNU Accounting Students Gain Real-World Experience from the First Year

On July 1, 2025, Dai Nam University formalized a strategic cooperation agreement with three esteemed enterprises operating in the fields of accounting and auditing: SAPP Education Joint Stock Company, Passion for Vietnamese Accounting Company Limited, and TH.FINTAX Tax Consulting & Management Solutions Company Limited.

The signing is part of the school’s strategic direction to realize the training philosophy of “real learning – real work”, bringing students closer to real work right from their time in the classroom. This is a practical step for students to be able to work immediately after graduation, be confident in their profession and develop with their own real abilities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Rector of Dai Nam University emphasized: "Cooperation with businesses is not a movement, nor does it stop at formalities. Each handshake today will be realized through simulation classes, quality internship programs and practical collaborative projects for students and lecturers."

With the goal of improving the quality of training in a practical direction, Dr. Le The Anh - Dean, Faculty of Accounting said: "We do not want students to learn in a 'listen and forget' way, but to do it, to try and make mistakes, and to receive direct guidance from experts in the profession. Only then will they truly mature and confidently integrate into the labor market."

Through the cooperation program, students majoring in Accounting and Auditing at Dai Nam University will have the opportunity to study in classes modeled after business models, have clear internships at partner units, be advised by a team of experts and access early job opportunities.

Representatives of the businesses participating in the signing expressed their confidence in the training quality of Dai Nam University, and affirmed their readiness to accompany the University in fostering professional skills and building a team of young, courageous accountants and auditors with high adaptability to practical work requirements.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thai - CEO of SAPP Education Joint Stock Company shared: "We highly appreciate the educational philosophy of Dai Nam University. The university's proactive connection with businesses to build a practical curriculum is a very correct direction. From the perspective of a unit specializing in international standard training for students in the accounting and auditing majors, I believe that DNU students have the potential to become competent personnel, if they are properly oriented and exposed to the profession early as they are now."
