As the world continues to evolve rapidly under the powerful influence of AI, digital transformation, reverse globalization, and value chain disruptions, education — particularly economic education — must broaden its mindset, innovate its methods, and strengthen global connectivity. In that spirit, the 2025 International Conference organized by the Faculty of Economics and Management at Dai Nam University, under the theme "Innovation for Global Development," has truly become an international academic forum where innovative thinking meets global practice. The conference contributes to fostering an open, connected, and up-to-date educational environment aligned with the world’s latest development trends.

Gathering prestigious scholars and experts at home and abroad

This year's conference attracted nearly 100 scientists, lecturers, and experts from 18 universities and research institutes at home and abroad, with 63 research summaries and 51 full-text articles selected for publication in the proceedings.

The presence of two international speakers with modern thinking and strategic perspectives created outstanding academic highlights:

1. Dr. Christopher John Kirrane – Academic Director of Business, British University Vietnam, with the topic “Innovation and the Retreat from Globalisation”, he raised profound questions about the nature of innovation in the context of the world reshaping after global shocks.

2. Dr. Benjamin Vu – University of Canberra (Australia): With his presentation “The Digital Economy: Foundations, Contributions and Challenges”, he provided a panoramic view of the digital economy – from theory to practical implementation in Australia, with useful lessons for Vietnam and the region.
