How much has K19 grown in three months in Dai Nam?
Three months is not long, but it is enough for K19 to “change state” from bewilderment to familiarity, from lost to optimism. From the first days running around the school yard looking for their class, now they confidently stand in the middle of the festival, cheering with their friends and telling themselves: “ This is where I truly belong .”
From awkward to familiar
“The first day I spent more than 20 minutes looking for the class, getting lost from one building to another. I was both embarrassed and happy because everyone who passed by stopped to show me the way,” Hoang Yen Nhi, a student at the Faculty of Medicine, said with a laugh.

Now, the campus of more than 10,000 square meters is no longer a maze. Stairs, small cafes, classroom corridors – K19 has memories everywhere.

Leaving their first home, they gradually found their "second home" in the 15-story dormitory: eating together, studying together, and chatting until late at night.

An invisible bond formed very quickly - between strangers, suddenly turned into "close brothers".
"Fiery DNA" no one stays out
If there is a real “Dai Nam DNA”, it is the tireless energy of young people. In just three months, K19 has “swum” through all kinds of events: Integration Week, Career Orientation, K19 Welcome Concert, Let's Dance, Halloween, competitions, talk shows, club activities...
One activity after another, causing many students to "complain" in a cute way: "The school has too many activities, but I don't want to miss any of them, I'm afraid it will be a pity if I miss them!" - Do Lam Thien Bao (Faculty of Medicine) shared.

At Dai Nam, no one is left behind, no one is left out. K19 quickly caught up, burning themselves out on stage, on the football field, and on the dance floor. From unfamiliar faces, they became part of a dynamic collective - where individuality is respected, talent is encouraged, and passion is ignited.

“DNA of dedication” - teachers not only teach, but also accompany
If students are “fiery youth”, then Dai Nam teachers are “007 agents” who always silently observe, listen and support. Right from the first week, K19 met homeroom teachers and academic advisors - people who not only closely monitor the learning situation, but also encourage, connect and help students understand the school culture.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice President of the School Council once said a sentence during a meeting with new students that made the whole hall applaud for a long time: "University does not only teach knowledge, but also teaches you how to live, how to love and how to grow up." For K19, that is not just a saying, but a promise of a meaningful youth.

“Confident DNA” – dare to be different to grow up
From being shy and timid during the entrance ceremony, K19 is now confident in presenting in front of the class, joining clubs, being MCs, organizing events, and daring to speak up their opinions. Every week, students learn soft skills and choose their favorite physical activity - from soccer, yoga, modern dance to martial arts. Each lesson and each experience is a "small step" to help K19 hone their courage and truly mature.

Dai Nam's confident DNA has always been promoted through many generations of students and is one of the important criteria to help learners develop in the future.

Students can choose from a variety of physical activities such as: soccer, yoga, modern dance, martial arts, - depending on their individual strengths and passions.
Right from the first semester, freshmen are required to make a “life profile” – drawing out their goals and directions for personal development right from the first semester. A strange exercise, but it makes many students think: “Who do I want to become in the next 4 years?” That is how Dai Nam helps students learn to understand themselves – something that not all universities teach.

Students dared to step out of their comfort zone to boldly present in front of the whole class through soft skills lessons.
From “overwhelmed” to “addicted”, K19 gradually found its own rhythm of life. For them, university is not just a lecture hall, but a place where every day there is something interesting to look forward to.
Has become a place to "belong"
The first three months have passed, and what remains in the hearts of K19 are not only the lessons and exciting events, but also the feeling of “belonging”. Proud to wear the orange shirt of Dai Nam every morning, proud to have like-minded friends, dedicated teachers, and memorable youth days.

Dai Nam, in the eyes of K19, is not just a university but a place where everyone is free to explore, to make mistakes, to correct, to shine in their own way. And even though there are many semesters and challenges ahead, K19 has understood one thing: Maturity does not wait until graduation. Maturity begins the moment we dare to open our hearts, dare to burn ourselves out - like the first three months at Dai Nam.
