FIB 2025 “Flight” officially departs

The “FIB SAY HI 2025” festival organized by the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Dai Nam University welcomed 140 new students of K19 in a bustling, youthful and enthusiastic atmosphere. With the unique theme “FIB Flight 2025”, the program brought an experience like a journey of discovery – where each new student is a “passenger” starting a flight named Dai Nam University.

Students were present before the event started.

The whole hall solemnly saluted the flag.

The event was attended by the Faculty Board of Directors, lecturers, representatives of partner banks and businesses, and a large number of students from courses 16, 17, and 18. In particular, many parents were also present, showing their close support for their children in the new learning journey.

Clear orientation – A stepping stone for the university journey

At the program, the Faculty leaders sent welcome messages to new students, shared about the educational mission and commitments to accompany them throughout the learning process.

Mr. Nam directly introduced the training program, output standards of the major, and encouraged new students to build personal study plans and proactively conquer their career goals.

Business companion – Opening up career opportunities

An important highlight of “FIB SAY HI 2025” is the sharing of business representatives about career opportunities and necessary skills in the Finance - Banking industry.

Mr. Ngo Binh Nguyen - Director of VPBank's Household Business Segment provided a lot of practical and useful information, helping students understand the requirements of the labor market as well as orient their own development right from the first year.

Students are invited to participate in direct and open exchanges with the speakers.

The participation of many large banks such as MB Bank, VPBank, VIB… also shows the close connection between school – faculty – business, opening up many internship and job opportunities for students in the future.

Inspiring Orientation – Connecting Generations

Not only stopping at the sharing part, K19 new students also participated in the John Holland career orientation test and interacted directly with alumni. The real stories of studying and working helped the new students better understand the path ahead, adding motivation to proactively integrate and develop.

One of the most memorable and proud moments of “FIB SAY HI 2025” was the award ceremony for students with excellent academic and training achievements in the past school year.

This is not only a recognition of the students' persistent efforts, but also a strong source of spiritual encouragement for K19 new students, arousing their confidence and aspiration to conquer new heights in university.

Representatives of the Faculty Leadership and Partner Enterprises directly presented certificates of merit and gifts to outstanding individuals. The applause resounded continuously when their names were called, expressing the admiration and pride of all FIB students.

Exciting "FIB SAY HI" contest - Colorful student talent

The highlight of the event was the talent contest “FIB SAY HI” with the participation of classes K16, K17, K18. The creative singing, dancing and performing performances created a youthful, vibrant and cohesive atmosphere.

The performances were carefully prepared by the classes, bringing an explosive atmosphere to the whole hall.

The jury, consisting of lecturers, experts and businesses, worked impartially, along with direct voting by K19 students in the hall to find the best teams.

Nurture talent and spread love

Within the framework of the program, the Faculty of Finance also launched a Scholarship Fund to support students in difficult circumstances and encourage the movement of learning and scientific research.

The Dean awarded a scholarship worth 50% of tuition to student Le Duc Luan - TCNH 18-02 to encourage his spirit of striving in studying without fear of difficulties.

This is an annual activity rich in humanistic meaning, demonstrating the spirit of "Devoted to students" of Dai Nam University.

MSc. Du My Dung, Representative of the Scholarship Fund, sent a thank you letter to the kind-hearted individuals/organizations who have supported the Scholarship Fund.

A solid start to a new journey

The event ended with handshakes, commemorative photos and the bright eyes of the new students. “FIB SAY HI 2025” is not only a welcoming day, but also an important stepping stone to help K19 prepare to confidently embark on the university journey – a journey of knowledge, experience and maturity.
