Dai Nam University organizes the “King & Queen of the night” Contest – DNU Farewell Party 2025: A Brilliant Journey

Within the framework of the program “DNU Farewell Party 2025: Brilliant Journey”, Dai Nam University organizes the contest “King & Queen of the Night” – a playground to honor outstanding individuals, inspire and leave a special mark in the youth journey of final year students. This is a meaningful activity to recognize the efforts, personality and unique style of students before closing a brilliant journey under the roof of Dai Nam University.

1. About the King and Queen of the night program

• Program name: King & Queen of the night (part of the DNU 2025 Farewell Party: Brilliant Journey)

• Time: 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2025

• Location: Dai Nam University Square

• Participants: Students graduating in 2025

2. Details of the “King & Queen of the Night” Contest

2.1. Contestants

All Dai Nam University students will graduate in 2025 with outstanding personality, style, and positive spirit.

2.2. Time

1. Registration Round - June 18 – July 1

2. Round 1 – Online Voting - From June 22 – July 1

3. Announcement of round 1 results - July 4, 2025

4. Round 2 – Performance - 07/09/2025

2.3. Evaluation criteria

• Inspirational messages, creativity, charisma & personal style.

ROUND 1 – ONLINE VOTING

a) Content

- Each candidate will be introduced with a personal photo on the DNU Student Council fanpage;

- Candidates send photos to the Organizing Committee in the format below, at the link: https://forms.gle/8cF3SfDtd1EHSJwi6

- Format: Introduce yourself, achievements, accomplishments, most unforgettable memories with Dai Nam

- After receiving the contestant's information, the Organizing Committee will post the contest photo on Fanpage: DNU Student Council to conduct voting;

- The Top 5 contestants with the highest scores in the King category and the Top 5 contestants with the highest scores in the Queen category will advance to the performance round on the night of July 9, 2025.

b) Scoring rules

- The Organizing Committee will compile and process entries according to the general identity of the contest.

- Contest entries are posted on fanpage: DNU Student Council

- Each team's score is calculated according to the formula:

Total score = Judges score x 30% + Voting score x 70%

In there:

+ Voting points are calculated based on the entry's accessibility score ranking on the fanpage "DNU Student Council"

Votes are considered valid when they meet the following criteria:

Step 1: Like Dai Nam University fanpage and DNU Student Council Fanpage

Step 2: Like and share your favorite entry

+ 70% of voting points come from post reach on Fanpage

+ 30% of the score from the jury (Organizing Committee):

c) Requirements

- Contest photos must clearly convey the content, face and expression.

- Photos can be taken from cameras, mobile phones.

- Contest photos must be in digital format, image files must be in jpg, png format; image size must be larger than 2MB. Standard HD resolution

- Each photo cannot be a combination of multiple photos.

- Contest photos must be appropriate to Vietnamese customs and culture; and must not violate Vietnamese law. Products with inappropriate content and quality will be eliminated from the first round.

- The Organizing Committee is not responsible in case the contestant's entry is deleted by Facebook due to violating community standards.

- Dai Nam University is allowed to use the entries for promotional purposes and brand development without asking for permission or paying any fees.

- The decision of the Organizing Committee is final.

ROUND 2: OFFLINE VOTING AT THE EVENT

a) Content

- When checking in to attend the ceremony, each person will receive 01 vote to name the King & Queen in the top 5 that you think is most worthy.

b) Voting rules
+ Each person is only given 1 vote
+ Put the ballot into the BTC's sealed ballot box
+ Only valid votes (clear, not crossed out) will be counted.
- Announcement & honor:
+ 100% of round 2 results will decide the King & Queen title
+ The results are announced and honored right on stage at the end of the ceremony, with a crown and a special souvenir photo frame.
