The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) is creating many changes in higher education. AI is getting stronger, students are more proactive, but the anxiety about the future of work has never been greater. Parents worry about jobs; students worry about being replaced by AI; teachers worry about their role in the new era.

In that context, Dai Nam University (DNU) issued a statement: “AI does not replace teachers – but AI will replace teachers who refuse to change.” The message shows the urgent need to innovate the educational model, where lecturers are the leaders and students can learn for real – do for real – have real experience.

According to forecasts, about 40% of jobs are at risk of being automated in the next 10 years. The technology, health, and business sectors are lacking practical human resources, while many students still have to start their careers from "base zero".

“3 real” model - DNU's training platform

(1) Real learning – Flipped classroom

The teacher does not talk one way, the student does not copy one way. Students prepare in advance – come to class to do, discuss, solve problems. The student's active participation rate is about 70%.

(2) Do it for real – AI supports learners, not replaces teachers

Students use AI to analyze, simulate, and optimize their assignments. Teachers use AI to train, personalize, and improve teaching efficiency. Each student is considered a project to be developed.

(3) Real experience – Connecting businesses from year one

No need to visit, take pictures and then go home. Each semester has real business topics – real jobs – real KPIs. Many faculties achieve 95–100% of students working in the right field right after graduation.
