There are things that can only be fully appreciated when one sets foot in a place, meets real people, and lives through real days. For the 82 students from Guangxi Foreign Language Institute (China), their 6-day trip to Dai Nam University was perhaps just such an experience.

82 students from Guangxi Foreign Language Institute (China) will come to Dai Nam University to participate in the 2026 Cultural Exchange and Practical Experience Program.

On the evening of June 22nd, the Gala Dinner concluding the Cultural Exchange and Practical Experience Program took place in a warm atmosphere, bringing to a close a short but memorable journey between students from Vietnam and China.

Vietnam is beautiful not only because of its scenery, but also because of its people.

During their six days in Hanoi, the students from Guangxi visited many famous landmarks such as Hoan Kiem Lake, Ba Dinh Square, and Bat Trang pottery village; they learned Vietnamese, explored Vietnamese culture, and experienced the rhythm of life in the capital city.

However, what many people remember most is not the famous destinations, but the experiences with the Vietnamese people: their friendly smiles, their enthusiasm when asked for directions, their greetings in Chinese (though not perfect, they were full of warmth), the Vietnamese meals, the long conversations, and the feeling of being welcomed like true friends.

The fact that a prestigious Chinese university chose Dai Nam University as the destination for its international exchange program demonstrates the university's growing appeal in the region, while also opening up more opportunities for cross-border educational cooperation and connections.

A student representative from Guangxi Foreign Languages Academy shared at the program: "Before coming to Vietnam, we had a lot of curiosity. But after experiencing it for a few days, what remains most is the friendliness and sincerity of the people here. Vietnam is truly more wonderful than we ever imagined."

Perhaps that is also the most beautiful value of international exchange programs: helping young people understand each other better through real-life experiences rather than just through books or the internet.

Dai Nam University has offered you the best.

If Vietnam leaves a lasting impression with its friendliness and hospitality, then Dai Nam University has become a very special part of the experiential journey for students from Guangxi.

Throughout the program, faculty and students from Dai Nam University have been there to support you in every aspect of your studies, experiences, and daily life. From the initial welcome at the dormitory, Vietnamese language classes, cultural exchange activities, to field trips, enthusiastic Dai Nam students have been present everywhere, acting as a bridge between participants.

After 6 days in Vietnam, the students explored Vietnamese culture, history, and people through a series of experiential activities in Hanoi, Bat Trang pottery village, cultural and sports exchange programs, and networking with students from Dai Nam University.

Many young people were initially hesitant due to language differences, but after just a few days, they quickly became close friends, exchanging social media information, taking photos, eating together, and sharing stories of their youth.

Speaking at the Gala Dinner, a representative from the Guangxi Foreign Language Institute expressed their appreciation for the meticulous preparation and sincere hospitality that Dai Nam University had shown to the student delegation throughout their stay and studies in Vietnam.

Heartfelt thank-yous, farewell hugs, and hastily taken photos before parting ways conveyed a wealth of emotions and became memorable moments of the program.

Goodbye to begin new connections.

Representatives from Dai Nam University affirmed that the university always considers international exchange programs not only as educational cooperation activities but also as opportunities for students from different countries to better understand each other's cultures and people, and to grow together in an integrated environment.

After six days of collaboration, Dai Nam University gained not only the success of an exchange program but also 82 new friends, beautiful stories of friendship, and the belief that geographical distances may be vast, but sincerity can always bring people closer together.

The bus will eventually take you back to Guangxi, but we believe that your baggage today will include images of a friendly and hospitable Vietnam, along with beautiful memories at Dai Nam University – a place that will always welcome you back on your next journeys.

Goodbye everyone. See you again soon.

Vietnam always welcomes you.
