2026 Admissions: 4 admission methods - wide access to 37 majors at Dai Nam University.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, Dai Nam University (school code DDN) will enroll students in 37 training programs with 4 flexible admission methods, opening up many opportunities for admission for candidates nationwide. Diversifying admission methods not only helps candidates proactively choose a suitable path but also affirms the university's focus on competency-based admissions, creating conditions for each young person to develop their strengths.

3. Eligibility: Candidates who have graduated from high school or equivalent and meet the conditions for participating in university admissions as stipulated in the current admissions regulations.

- Method 1: Admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam.
- Method 2: Admission based on high school academic results (transcript)
- Method 3: Direct admission according to the regulations of the current admission rules.
- Method 4: Admission based on the results of aptitude and thinking skills assessment exams: HSA, TSA, SPT, V-SAT
5. Admission requirements
Method 1: Admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam.
Admission score = (Score in subject 1 + Score in subject 2 + Score in subject 3) + Priority points (if any).
Admission requirements:
- Candidates whose high school graduation exam results meet the quality assurance threshold set by the University after the 2026 high school graduation exam results are available, except for the Health Sciences and Law fields, which are determined by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Method 2: Admission based on high school academic results (transcript)
Admission is based on the average academic performance score for all three years of grades 10, 11, and 12, according to the chosen subject combination.
Admission score = (Score in Subject 1 + Score in Subject 2 + Score in Subject 3)
In there:
- Subject 1 Score = (Average Subject 1 Score for the whole year of 10th grade + Average Subject 1 Score for the whole year of 11th grade + Average Subject 1 Score for the whole year of 12th grade) / 3
- The scores for subjects 2 and 3 are similar to subject 1.
Note: The school does not add bonus points for admission based on academic transcripts.
Admission requirements:
- Candidates must meet the minimum quality standards:
+ For Medical and Pharmacy majors, candidates must have a total score of 24 points or higher in the three subjects of the chosen combination based on their high school transcript; have an average academic performance rated as good (academic performance classified as excellent or higher) for the entire 12th grade year (academic results of the two final semesters for vocational high school and equivalent institutions); and a total score of 20.00 or higher in the three subjects of the high school graduation exam according to the chosen combination (or using the scores of Mathematics, Literature, and one other subject), or a high school graduation exam score (or vocational high school graduation exam score) of 8.50 or higher.
+ For the Nursing major, candidates must have a total score of 19.5 or higher in the three subjects of the admission combination based on their high school transcript; have an average academic performance rated as "good" (academic performance classified as "good" or higher) for the entire 12th grade year (academic results of the two semesters of the final year for vocational high school and equivalent institutions); and a total score of 16.50 or higher in the three subjects of the high school graduation exam, or a high school graduation exam score of 6.50 or higher (for vocational high school).
+ For Law and Economic Law majors, candidates must have a total score of 18 points or higher in the three subjects of the chosen combination based on their high school transcript; have an average academic performance rated as good (academic performance classified as excellent or higher) for the entire 12th grade year (academic results of the two final semesters for vocational high school and equivalent institutions); and a total score of 18.00 or higher in the three subjects of the high school graduation exam according to the chosen combination (or using the scores of Mathematics, Literature, and one other subject), or a high school graduation exam score (or vocational high school graduation exam score) of 8.50 or higher.
+ For other majors: candidates must have a total score of 18 points or higher in the three subjects of the chosen combination based on their high school transcript, and a total score of at least 15.00 points in the three subjects of the high school graduation exam (or vocational high school exam for vocational high school students) in the chosen combination (or using the scores of Mathematics, Literature, and one other subject) on a 30-point scale, applicable to candidates taking the graduation exam from 2026 onwards.
Method 3: Direct admission according to the regulations of the current admission rules.
Admission requirements:
- Candidates must meet one of the criteria for direct admission according to the current university admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Method 4: Admission based on the results of aptitude and thinking skills assessment exams: HSA, TSA, SPT, V-SAT
Candidates applying for admission must meet the minimum score requirement based on one of the following criteria:
Results of the National University of Hanoi's Competency Assessment Exam (on a 150-point scale):
+ Law field: 90/150 points or higher, while also meeting the quality assurance threshold required by the Ministry of Education and Training;
+ Health Sciences: 80/150 points or higher, while also meeting the quality assurance threshold required by the Ministry of Education and Training;
+ Other fields of study: 60/150 points or higher, while also meeting the quality assurance threshold required by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Results of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's Thinking Skills Assessment (on a 100-point scale):
+ Health Sciences and Law Sciences: 60/100 points or higher, and meeting the quality assurance threshold required by the Ministry of Education and Training;
+ Other fields of study: 50/100 points or higher, and meeting the quality assurance threshold required by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Results of the Hanoi University of Education's Aptitude Test (30-point scale):
+ Health Sciences and Law Sciences: 18 points or higher, and meeting the quality assurance threshold required by the Ministry of Education and Training;
+ Other fields of study: 15 points or more, and meeting the quality assurance threshold required by the Ministry of Education and Training.
V-SAT University Entrance Exam (450-point scale):
+ Law field: 270/450 points or higher, while also meeting the quality assurance threshold required by the Ministry of Education and Training;
+ Health Sciences: 240/450 points or higher, and meeting the quality assurance threshold required by the Ministry of Education and Training;
+ Other fields of study: 225/450 points or higher, while also meeting the quality assurance threshold required by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Note:
-The conversion of admission methods to a single 30-point scale will be carried out according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training and will be publicly announced no later than the time of announcing the minimum quality assurance threshold for admission after the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam are available.
- Quality assurance threshold for candidates applying for admission to law programs: The entrance requirements for law programs are determined based on the results of examinations, selection processes, or other assessment methods, ensuring that knowledge of Mathematics and Literature, or Mathematics or Literature, is evaluated; candidates must achieve at least 60% of the maximum score on the grading scale.
