18 years of Dai Nam University: Journey of building values - gratitude - connection - pride

On the morning of November 14, amidst the warm orange color - the color of enthusiasm, love and service spirit - Dai Nam University (DNU) solemnly held the 18th anniversary celebration (November 14, 2007 - November 14, 2025) and welcomed the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20).

Not just a ceremony, this is a beautiful moment of silence for the Dai Nam family to look back on the journey they have taken - a journey built from the aspiration to do decent education, from the steadfast belief in humanity, and from the spirit of "Devoted to students" that always burns brightly in every teacher.

STARTING WITH DREAMS, FAITH AND KINDNESS

18 years ago, Dai Nam University took its first steps not with material resources or existing reputation, but with a simple but strong dream:
To build a school where every learner is respected, given opportunities and reached for a better future.

At that time, the most precious thing that Dai Nam possessed was people who dared to believe in a different path: a path of education with sincerity, perseverance and kindness.

They started from small but bright classrooms filled with faith. From simple but heartfelt lectures of teachers. From the first generations of students – those who chose to put their faith in a young but ambitious school.

It was that beginning – gentle, silent but strong – that created the foundation for Dai Nam to grow into:

- A university of applied sciences with a modern 10-hectare campus

- More than 20,000 students are studying

- 25,000 adult alumni across the country

- And 1,300 dedicated and professional staff - lecturers - employees

“DNU’s greatest achievement is not the facilities, but the people – those who choose a more correct and kind path…” emphasized Mr. Le Dac Son.

18 - THE AGE OF DESIRE, CHANGE AND BREAKTHROUGH

18 years old - for a person is the most beautiful age. For a school - it is the age mature enough to be steady, young enough to break through. At the age of 18, Dai Nam University confidently opens a new door with a pioneering training model: " Flipped Learning + AI + Enterprise ."

Here, students do not just sit and listen to lectures, but also experience, create, apply – becoming subjects of knowledge.

DNU is steadfast in its philosophy: Study to do – Do to live well – Live kindly to be happy.

In 2025, DNU continued to mark an important step forward by welcoming the first 200 Indian students to study Medicine in English - a testament to the prestige, quality and humanistic values that the school has built over the past 18 years.

THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO LIGHT THE FIRE FOR DAI NAM

“The most valuable asset of Dai Nam University is its 1,300 staff members, lecturers and employees.”

That is not only the affirmation of the Chairman of the School Board Le Dac Son, but also a deep recognition for the people who have contributed to building, preserving and developing Dai Nam over the past 18 years.

Because looking back on that journey, we see one thing clearly:

- Every step of Dai Nam is supported by their dedication, perseverance and sacrifice.

- Every good value today is formed from people who have chosen to stick with, to contribute and to go with the school for the students and for a decent education.

It is these people – with their perseverance, professional heart and common aspiration – who have lit the fire of Dai Nam, so that today we have a strong, humane and proud school.

- The Technical and Technology Block sings with creativity and innovation.

- The Economic - Business Block sings with dynamism, modernity and sharpness.

- The General Knowledge Block sings with the solidity of those who build the foundation.

- The Departments - Institutes - Centers sing with the sincerity of the silent people standing behind the lights.

Each performance – a word of gratitude. Each voice – a story. And all blend together to create a Dai Nam full of love, connection, and humanity.

The culture of Dai Nam is not based on slogans. It is sung – lived – transmitted from heart to heart.
