Hundreds of Dai Nam University students took to the streets to spread the message of "say no" to plastic bags.
Every year, the world releases 500 billion plastic bags and more than 300 million tons of plastic waste into the environment. If they were connected together, plastic bags could wrap around the Earth 4,200 times. On average, the world consumes 1 million plastic bottles every minute. More than 9.1 billion tons of plastic waste are accumulating on Earth. Faced with this situation, Dai Nam University continues to implement the environmental communication program - Say no to plastic bags. On the morning of May 11, hundreds of students of the school took to the streets with hand-drawn posters calling on the community to join hands to say no to plastic bags and single-use plastic products.
