1. Short Training Duration

The Faculty of Japanese Language at Dai Nam University is designed to be completed in 3.5 years (11 semesters). Students can graduate 0.5 years sooner, saving on living expenses, entering the workforce sooner, and devoting more time to higher studies such as a master's or doctorate.

3. Internship in Japan for 6 Months to 1 Year

Teachers and students of the Faculty of Japanese Language report the results of their internships and experiences in Japan to the University Council and the Governing Board.

During their study period, students have opportunities to acquire language, cultural, and social experiences in Japan by participating in internships from 6 months to 1 year or attending overseas semesters at Japanese language training schools.

Students from the second year with Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N3, have opportunities for paid internships in Japan for 6-12 months at our partner companies. These include Sekai Jinzai Co.Ltd, Hirado Kaijo Hotel, Overseas Market Development Operations (OMDO), KPG Hotel & Resort Group, H&S Co., Hakuunsha Vietnam Co., and companies under the Vietnamese Business Association in Japan (VBJA).

The university's regulations provide the recognition of paid study and experiential periods in Japan for academic credit. From the third year onwards, students have the opportunity to successfully finish their studies and graduate on schedule. 

This enriching educational experience allows students to enhance their proficiency in the Japanese language while also exploring Japanese culture and working in a professional, contemporary, and disciplined environment, equipping them with the necessary skills for the job market after graduation.

5. Attractive Scholarship Policies to Reduce Financial Pressure

In 2024, Dai Nam  University allocated a scholarship fund of 55 billion VND for new students of K18, offering seven scholarship programs, including:

+ Talent Scholarship: 50-100% of tuition fees for the entire course (valued between 60.5 to 576 million VND, depending on the program).

+ Encouragement Scholarship: 100% of first-semester tuition fees for the 2024-2025 academic year (valued between 11 to 32 million VND, depending on the program).

+ Education – Health Scholarship: 10 – 30 million VND.

+ Support Scholarship: 20-30% of the first-semester tuition fees for the 2024-2025 academic year.

+ Talent Promotion Scholarship: 50 – 100% of the first-semester tuition fees for the 2024-2025 academic year.

+ "Human of Dai Nam" Scholarship: 10-30% of the entire course tuition fees (valued between 12.1 to 172.8 million VND, depending on the program).

+ "Proud of Ha Dong" Scholarship: 10% of the first-semester tuition fees for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Additionally, Japanese Language students can receive scholarships from businesses and the Japanese government.

In 2024, Đại Nam University (code DDN) will enroll 100 students in the Japanese Language program (code 7220209) through three admission methods:

A01 Math, Physics, Chemistry

C00 Literature, History, Geography

D01 Math, Literature, English

D15 Literature, Geography, English

- Method 1: Based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam.

- Method 2: Based on high school academic records.

- Method 3: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the university.
