The journey from "ordinary girl" to a star: Don't wait for opportunities to come, transform them into real value!

The reality is that there's no shortage of opportunities at university, but not everyone knows how to turn them into a springboard for their own success.

Hoang Ngoc Huyen graduated with distinction with a GPA of 9.18, placing her in the top 2.5% of students with the highest academic results at Dai Nam University in 2026.

Three years ago, Hoang Ngoc Huyen entered Dai Nam University with a very simple desire: to become a professional marketer. Without an impressive profile or the pressure to be number one, Huyen carried only one principle: if it's an opportunity to grow, then don't let it pass you by.

And so, my friend began her journey of saying "YES" to every challenge: if there was a research topic, she would try her hand at it; if there was an academic competition or movement, she would readily participate; if a Youth Union officer was needed to connect friends, she would take on the task; and when an opportunity arose to get involved with businesses early on, she would jump in without hesitation.

Each time Huyen stepped out of her comfort zone, she accumulated more "fighting spirit," understood herself better, honed her skills, and moved closer to her dream.

Three years of study was a journey in which Hoang Ngoc Huyen constantly challenged herself, accumulated experience, and gradually affirmed her abilities.

After three years, Huyen held in her hands a diploma with distinction and a GPA of 9.18, ranking in the top 2.5% of students with the highest academic results in the entire school in 2026. But just looking at those numbers doesn't fully capture how "cool" this girl is.

Not only excelling in academics, Hoang Ngoc Huyen has also made her mark in scientific research, youth union activities, and many other student-oriented events.

Behind her degree lies a series of real-world work days and real-world project battles. As a Marketing student, Huyen didn't choose abstract topics but went straight to the practical problems of the Faculty and the University, from communication solutions and brand enhancement to reducing student dropout rates.

The result was the First Prize in the University-level Scientific Research Competition, along with three papers published in international journals and conferences. The knowledge acquired in the classroom was not left behind in the curriculum but was transformed into valuable practical solutions.

Not content with just academic achievements, Huyen also "conquered" many extracurricular activities to explore and improve herself. Winning the title of Miss Beauty of Dai Nam 2026, the Champion of Let's Dance Season 6, the Champion of Dai Nam Intelligence 2025, and the Champion of the Soft Skills Camp... these are all milestones recognizing a Gen Z who dares to try, dares to experience, and dares to break through, rather than simply achieving titles to "flex".

Experiences from studying, research, and extracurricular activities have contributed to shaping Hoang Ngoc Huyen into a confident, capable, and practical individual.

In her roles as Class President, Deputy Secretary of the Student Union, and Deputy Head of various clubs, Huyen realized the most valuable lesson: maturity comes from creating value for the collective. Even in her third year, she secured a Content Creator position at an e-commerce company, proving that the gap between the classroom and the real-world work environment has almost disappeared.

Associate Professor Dr. Truong Duc Thao, Head of the Faculty of Business Administration and Marketing, reflected on his student and remarked: “The most valuable thing about Huyen is not the number of awards, but her proactive spirit. She transforms every opportunity that comes her way into an environment for learning, experiencing, and self-improvement.”

What stands out from Hoang Ngoc Huyen's journey is not only an impressive list of achievements, but also how she spent three years of her youth: not wasting a single class, not skipping a single research opportunity, and not rejecting any chance that could help her become better.

As early as her third year, Hoang Ngoc Huyen became a Content Creator at an e-commerce company, bridging the gap between the classroom and the job market.

That is also what Dai Nam University always aims to provide for each student: an environment not only for acquiring theory but also for engaging, challenging themselves, and personally building "real capabilities." Because ultimately, each person's future is not determined by how many opportunities they have, but by how many opportunities they transform into their own unique value.
