The 7th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dai Nam University: Igniting Youthful Energy for Success

The 7th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dai Nam University (Term 2025-2027) ended successfully, ushering in a new era of igniting youthful energy, achieving achievement, and disseminating humanistic ideals throughout the community.

This event provided not only an opportunity for the Youth Union to reflect on its accomplishments but also to establish new goals and directions for youth movements in the years ahead.

The Congress was attended by representatives from the Party Committee, the University's Executive Board, leaders of Hanoi's Youth Union, partner organizations, and 169 outstanding delegates — excellent officers and members from various sub-unions around the university.

Nearly two decades of companionship with students

The Dai Nam University Youth Union has expanded and developed steadily over the last two decades. Activities such as "Traditional Camp," "Green Summer," "Warm Winter of Love," and "Voluntary Blood Donation" have become distinctive Youth Union initiatives, helping students build skills and increase their social responsibility.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Anh Tai – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University's Trade Union, stated, "The Youth Union's activities have offered relevant platforms for students to grow holistically in terms of critical thinking, character, and social responsibility. The new Executive Committee must continue to assert its position as a critical bridge for the university to realize its objective of dedication to learners."

Phung Vu The Tai, a member of the 6th Executive Committee of the Youth Union, stated that participating in Youth Union events has enhanced his teamwork and communication skills, as well as helped him realize his full potential. I previously served as the head organizer for a huge event, which was a valuable experience. It taught me how to plan, solve the problem, and perform efficiently under pressure. "These lessons have given me a lot more confidence in life."

The New Executive Committee: A Promising Start for a Breakthrough Term.

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dai Nam University's 7th Executive Committee was elected by Congress for the years 2024-2027. The new committee, which represents more than 19,000 students, is expected to lead exciting and effective events.

According to Ms. Cao Thi Hoa, Vice Chairman of the University Council, the Youth Union serves as both a platform for youth energy and an extension of the university's strategic objectives. I hope that the 7th Executive Committee will continue to innovate while encouraging unity, excitement, and responsibility in order to inspire and propagate positive ideals throughout the student community and society.

Mr. Tran Quang Hung, Deputy Secretary of Hanoi Youth Union and Chairman of Hanoi Student Association, expressed hope that the 7th Executive Committee will uphold the motto "Where there is a need, there is youth; where there is difficulty, youth will rise!"
