Identifying entrepreneurship and innovation (KNĐMST) as one of the strategic pillars in the new development phase, towards the vision of 2030, Dai Nam University aims to train a generation of students with good expertise, solid vocational skills and a creative spirit.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Principal of the University affirmed: “Entrepreneurial spirit is a part of Dai Nam University culture. We hope that students will not only graduate to work, but also be able to create jobs for themselves, create value for society with their own capacity and creativity.”

Startup playground - where ideas become actions

For students, the startup playground is not just a competition, but a "living laboratory" - where all knowledge is tested in a real environment.

From ideas, students learn how to plan; from planning, learn how to organize teams; and from each failure, learn how to do it again and grow more mature.

At Dai Nam University, two typical playgrounds, Startup Innovation Lab (SIL) and Dai Nam Business Innovation Challenge (DBIC), have become familiar destinations for young people with a passion for innovation.

From here, hundreds of student ideas were incubated and developed, and many projects reached national level:

• “Chicken Farm” – First Prize of Startup Competition 2016.
• “Black Wood Pig” – First Prize for Creative Youth Startup 2018.
• “Border Dream” – a project by student Nguyen Huu Quan (Faculty of Communication), Top 5 Digital Business Breakthrough 2024, reported by VTC Television.

Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Duc Thao - Head of the Faculty of Business Administration & Marketing emphasized: "The greatest value that startups bring to students is not the award, but the ability to be confident, dedicated and take control of life. Each project is a practice of real life."
