Soha.vn - The place that ignites the journey of creating happy universities in Vietnam.
The workshop "Creating Happy Universities in Vietnam: From Vision to Action" has concluded, but it has left a profound impact on the speakers.
The workshop "Creating Happy Universities in Vietnam: From Vision to Action," co-organized by Soha.vn and Dai Nam University on May 22, 2026, was a resounding success, exceeding the organizers' expectations.
The workshop attracted a large number of university leaders and leading education experts. All the presentations were of practical value, spreading positive messages and inspiring contributions to higher education.
One of the particularly significant points raised at the conference was: To have universities that foster happiness, universities must train graduates to have the skills to work according to society's needs. This is an important but also very urgent task that the higher education system must vigorously implement to meet the development needs of the country.
The workshop also instilled confidence in a large number of university teachers, encouraging them to improve their skills and become mentors who can lead the younger generation to thrive in the new era.
The workshop not only contributed to creating happiness in higher education, but also inspired and encouraged organizations and businesses to create happiness, paving the way for all Vietnamese people to live in a happy nation.
From the perspective of someone invited to participate in the in-depth discussion, directly sharing and listening at the "Creating Happy Universities in Vietnam: From Vision to Action" workshop on May 22, 2026, my feelings are those of honor, deep empathy, and practical lessons learned from the workshop.
For me, the Conference was a landmark event, delivering profound value not only to universities but also to society as a whole. The papers presented at the Conference marked a strong shift in thinking in higher education, from purely academic achievement to creating an ecosystem for the holistic development of individuals.
The workshop on happy universities is the first and essential step in transforming the understanding of what constitutes a happy university into action in creating one. Today's employers require individuals with high emotional intelligence (EQ), adaptability, and resilience to setbacks. These core competencies are difficult to develop in dry, academic classrooms and must be nurtured within the environment of a happy university. Organizing this workshop helps universities shape their methods for training well-rounded individuals for the future.
Attending the conference gave me a wonderful opportunity to meet renowned educators and educational administrators, as well as successful entrepreneurs interested in creating a happy university and a happy work environment. In particular, I had the chance to meet a large number of teachers and students from Dai Nam University. What left a strong impression on me was the lively, open, professional, and energetic exchange between the teachers and students and the conference speakers.
This conference is the starting point, the place that ignites the flame for the journey of creating a happy university in Vietnam. In my opinion, the quality of this conference deserves praise and positive evaluation thanks to its innovative thinking, scientific data, and powerful, inspiring messages about creating a happy university.
Thank you to the Organizing Committee, thank you to all the distinguished delegates, the wonderful speakers, the teachers, and the students who together created a truly beneficial, valuable, and humane conference.
In my opinion, the recent workshop "Creating Happy Universities in Vietnam: From Vision to Action" was very practical and timely.
Most importantly, the workshop raised a major question for higher education today: In the era of AI and rapidly changing society, how will universities train individuals to be both professionally successful and happy, as well as adaptable?
I appreciate that the workshop not only discussed "happiness" in an emotional sense, but also connected it to the quality of education, mental health, adaptability to AI, interdisciplinary thinking, and the relationship between schools, businesses, and society.
These are very real issues facing Vietnamese education today. The greatest value of the conference is that it helps universities see more clearly that: "Future education should not only train people with degrees, but also train people who are capable of lifelong learning, critical thinking, creativity, and living happily in a constantly changing world ."
I believe that if the discussions at the conference continue to translate into concrete actions in university governance, curriculum development, and the learning environment, this will be a very valuable direction for Vietnamese higher education in the age of AI.
I consider the workshop "Creating Happy Universities in Vietnam: From Vision to Action" to be a very meaningful, necessary, and high-quality program.
For me personally, the program was very helpful because it helped me see more clearly the direction and plan for creating a happy university and a happy community, not just as a beautiful ideal but as a strategy that can be implemented in reality.
What I appreciated most was that the workshop transformed seemingly abstract concepts like happiness, meaning, connection, and human development into very concrete issues that can be linked to school administration, teaching organization, student care, faculty development, and building university culture.
Experts from diverse educational backgrounds—from public institutions like the University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, to private and international universities such as VinUni and BUV—provided perspectives that were both practical for the Vietnamese context and aligned with modern global educational trends.
I am also honored to share my humble knowledge gained from implementing the Happy Business model in Mainetti. For me, it's a beautiful continuation of what the entire community is striving for. To have a happy country, we need happy families, happy schools, and happy businesses.
What I enjoyed most was the sharing of ideals and aspirations by the President of Dai Nam University, Dr. Le Dac Son. And what I valued most was the warmth, approachability, and practicality of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang, the Rector of Dai Nam University.
I feel that happiness here is not just a slogan, but something that can begin with very specific things in how schools listen to, support, and develop individuals. In my opinion, this workshop is necessary because education today is not just about training knowledge or preparing for careers, but also about helping learners develop life skills, work skills, and a desire to contribute. This is a direction that deserves to be continued and spread.
