Promoting the development of professional clubs – DNU inspires youth and nurtures career passion for students

Creating an open knowledge space – Where students live and work together

In the 2025-2026 school year, Dai Nam University will establish more professional clubs, marking a new step in the journey of building a model of "learning while doing - doing while learning", linking training with professional practice.

Professional Clubs are not only places for students to exchange and learn, but also a lively professional training environment, where theories are tested, ideas are nurtured and professional skills are formed through each specific project.

Here, students experience real work right from the classroom through projects, workshops, academic competitions or scientific research topics; work with lecturers, experts, businesses and receive direct advice. Through that, they broaden their career perspective, develop comprehensive skills - from critical thinking, teamwork, communication to project management and presentation skills - abilities that employers always appreciate.

In particular, students can build a realistic career portfolio, creating a clear competitive advantage when entering the labor market.

From successful models

The Professional Club model has long been an “academic brand” at many leading universities at home and abroad. In Vietnam, students from the Finance – Banking, Global Economics or Creative Entrepreneurship Clubs at the Foreign Trade University have been recruited early by businesses thanks to the experience accumulated from club activities.

Around the world, universities such as Harvard, Stanford or NUS consider the professional club system not only a place to practice skills but also an incubator for research projects, startups and innovations with social impact.

Dai Nam University is on the same journey – but in its own way: closely linking club activities with specialized courses, internship programs, business cooperation and applied research. At DNU, students do not only “learn in the classroom”, but also learn by doing and grow through real experiences.

Pioneering units implementing in the 2025 - 2026 school year

In the 2025-2026 school year, many faculties at Dai Nam University will pioneer the implementation of the professional club model, including: Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences; Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology; Faculty of Fine Arts and Design; Faculty of Finance - Banking; Faculty of Architecture and Construction.

The clubs operate under the auspices of the Student Affairs Department and the Youth Union, ensuring academic, creative, attractive and practical qualities – spreading the spirit of “learning to change – learning to shine” of Dai Nam students.

By participating in the Professional Club, Dai Nam students have the opportunity to deeply understand their major, clearly define their career orientation, practice practical career skills, form a professional style and expand their career network.
