Female students from Dai Nam University bring their "dare to try" spirit to the "Coin Universe 2026" program on VTV.

Amidst the stage of the game show "Coin Universe 2026," as the studio lights came on and the pressure was evident on the faces of the competing teams, Hoang Gia Hue – a student from the Business Administration and Marketing department – still managed to remain calm. "At that moment, I only thought, I have to do my best for the honor of Dai Nam University."

The "always busy" girl from the Faculty of Business Administration & Marketing

Hoang Gia Hue is currently a student in class MAR1703, Faculty of Business Administration & Marketing, Dai Nam University. My first impression of her is that she's always full of energy: quick-witted, lively, and always participating in many school activities.

Friends often jokingly call Hue "the girl who's always busy." After school, Gia Hue is always occupied with scientific research, academic competitions, extracurricular activities, or group meetings that last until late at night.

But behind the image of a dynamic Gen Z lies a clear seriousness and a strong drive for self-improvement. Gia Hue doesn't hide the fact that she used to feel pressured by her packed school schedule and constant participation in major competitions.

“There was a time when I was almost overwhelmed with studying, competing, and working with the group. Some days, the whole group would practice until late at night before going home. It was exhausting, but I never thought about stopping, because I felt that my youth was worth experiencing more.”

Dare to step onto the national intellectual arena.

Recently, Gia Hue and the astronaut team from Dai Nam University made their mark at "Money Universe" - an academic game show organized by VTV Times, Vietnam Television. This is a competition that brings together many universities nationwide, where competing teams must demonstrate financial thinking, critical thinking skills, teamwork, and stage presence.

In the Casting round held on May 8th, 2026, the Dai Nam Astronaut Team surpassed the Open University to officially advance to the Quarterfinals. Out of a total of 54 participating schools, only 27 progressed.

Gia Hue and the astronaut team from Dai Nam University have just won the national quarterfinals of the 2026 Space Coin Competition.

Behind that result were many training sessions that lasted until late at night.

“Before the competition, we practiced almost continuously. Some days we stayed at school until late to revise content and practice our debates. The stronger the teams we faced, the more pressure we felt, but that was also when the whole group encouraged each other more.”

Throughout the competition, Gia Hue wasn't the most boisterous member of the team. However, at crucial moments, she always maintained her composure and displayed excellent reflexes. There were times when the whole team paused for a few seconds before a difficult question, and Hue was the one who proactively connected the ideas to keep everyone engaged in discussion.

"I think the most important thing in a team competition isn't who stands out more than whom, but how much trust the whole team has in each other."

"Don't choose the safe option" so that young people can have more experiences.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Giang, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Business Administration & Marketing, what impressed the teachers at Gia Hue was not only her achievements but also her proactive spirit and sense of responsibility in everything she did.

“Hue is a very ambitious student, always proactive in her studies and not afraid to take on challenging tasks. What I appreciate is that despite participating in many activities, she still maintains her seriousness and meticulousness…” Ms. Nguyen Thi Giang shared.

In fact, "The Money Universe" is not the first time Gia Hue has tried her hand at major competitions. Throughout her studies at Dai Nam University, she has consistently made her mark in numerous academic, scientific research, and skills competitions. Gia Hue has previously won:

- Winner of the Marketing Out of The Haze competition

- Runner-up in the Super CEO competition

- Third Prize in the School-level Scientific Research Competition, academic year 2025-2026

- Third Prize in the Faculty-level Scientific Research Competition for the 2025-2026 academic year

- Winner of the "Dai Nam Intelligence" soft skills program

- First Prize in the 10th round of the "Wise Soldier" competition – National Defense and Security Education

- Consistently received scholarships with excellent and outstanding grades.

- Received an entrance scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year...

Despite her impressive achievements, Gia Hue remains approachable and possesses a relentless spirit of learning.

"I never thought of myself as exceptionally talented. I just thought that when you're young, you should try as many things as possible. Each competition gives me more experience, more skills, and helps me understand myself better. There are times when it's very stressful, but it's those times that help me grow faster."

An environment that always encourages students to step outside the box.

What Gia Hue mentioned most often when talking about her time studying at Dai Nam University was the support of her teachers and the environment that always encouraged students to gain experience.

"The teachers at school are very supportive of students participating in competitions. Every time we want to try something new, they don't stop us but always encourage us to do our best."

At Dai Nam University, students are given opportunities to participate in scientific research, academic competitions, skills-based activities, and many large-scale events from a very early age. Beyond learning specialized knowledge, students are encouraged to gain practical experience, develop their character, and discover their own potential.

Perhaps it is from that environment that many Dai Nam University students today have become more confident, more proactive, and ready to step onto bigger stages with their true abilities.

"I still want to see how far I can go."

The journey in "Coin Universe 2026" continues. But for Gia Hue, the most meaningful thing is perhaps not just the ticket to the quarterfinals. It's the feeling of being challenged, of facing new challenges, and of seeing herself grow stronger each time she steps outside her comfort zone.

When asked if there were any other fields she wanted to try her hand at, she just smiled and said, " Probably many more... because I still want to see how far I can go."

When the conversation ended, Gia Hue still spoke about her new plans with excitement in her eyes. For her, the "Money Universe" might just be a small milestone in the many journeys that lie ahead. And perhaps, the most beautiful thing about youth is sometimes simply having enough courage to keep going, keep trying, and not be afraid to go beyond one's own limits.
