Digital economic human resources are both lacking and weak - a great opportunity for practical training facilities

That is the affirmation of Mr. Bui Quang Cuong - Director of iViet Solution Company at the talk show "Human resources in the Digital Economy - Perspective from experts". The program is organized by the Faculty of E-commerce and Digital Economy of Dai Nam University.
Attending the program, on behalf of the Faculty of E-Commerce and Digital Economy, Dai Nam University, there were: Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Duc Thao - Head of the Faculty, along with staff, lecturers and students in the Faculty.
On the guest side, there were: Mr. Bui Quang Cuong - Director of iViet Solution Company; Speaker Van Anh - Director of Digital Marketing of Drip Hydration System; Ms. Ho Hong Phuoc - Director of Wego Media Company, Google Marketing Expert, Official Partner of Google in Vietnam.
Speaking at the program, Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Duc Thao said: The 4.0 revolution is strongly promoting the digital transformation process from relying mainly on resources to an economy based on knowledge resources with the pillars of the internet and digital technology. In the process of developing the digital economy, human resources play a key role, deciding the success of the digital economy. Therefore, promoting the development of high-quality digital economic human resources is a strategy that is receiving special attention from the government, businesses and economic training institutions.
Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Duc Thao affirmed: DNU Digital Economy students can meet the requirements of businesses.
According to Mr. Bui Quang Cuong, the potential for Vietnam's digital economy is huge. The scale of Vietnam's digital economy could even reach 43 billion USD by 2025 and will grow fastest in the fields of e-commerce, online tourism, and online media. However, human resources for the digital economy are still lacking in quantity and weak in quality.
According to speaker Van Anh, the Digital Economy training program is not specific. Students graduating from school do not meet the recruitment needs of businesses; it takes a lot of time to retrain.

In response to the question “What do businesses require of Digital Economy personnel?” , Ms. Ho Hong Phuoc said: “In addition to professional competence, we expect candidates to have a broad vision and be ready to integrate, communicate in multiple ways, understand core values and business ethics standards to have the right mindset and attitude when working at the company.”
With the explosion of social media platforms, experts also shared knowledge related to the impact of AI on the economic sector. At the same time, they guided students on how to do business on digital platforms, especially Tiktok.
Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Duc Thao shared: “The DNU Digital Economics bachelor training program aims to equip learners with knowledge, skills, autonomy and responsibility associated with the three foundations of Economics, Applied Information Technology and Applied Mathematics to become global citizens, ready to participate in the process of international integration and digital transformation for organizations and businesses…”
