Beyond just physical appearance, the contest aims to comprehensively assess the contestants' performance skills, critical thinking, and personal character.

Organized by Dai Nam University (DNU), the competition is designed as an experiential activity to help students hone their skills, develop themselves, and adapt to the demands of the modern learning and working environment.
In the semi-finals, 40 contestants showcased their talents in various forms such as musical instrument performances, Bắc Ninh folk singing, folk dances with religious elements, and modern dance. The performances were meticulously prepared, from content to stage design, demonstrating serious preparation for this crucial round. Each performance not only had its own unique style but also conveyed stories and messages of youth, contributing to the diverse picture of the new Gen Z generation.

The competition involved international medical students studying at DNU, reflecting the multicultural and well-connected learning environment and the trend towards integration in student activities.

The competition also included a contestant from India, who is studying International Medicine at the school.
Besides the talent competition, contestants also participate in a Q&A session with questions related to social issues and the perspectives of young people. This section aims to assess their ability to express themselves, think critically, and react to real-life situations.
Mr. Le Dac Giang, Director of the Culture and Events Center of Dai Nam University and Head of the Organizing Committee, said that the competition was organized in a systematic and professional manner, from content development to staging and contestant evaluation.
"We are not only looking for outstanding individuals in terms of appearance, but also aiming to create an environment where students can hone their skills, express their opinions, and develop themselves in accordance with the principle of daring to grow - daring to love," Mr. Giang said.
From the perspective of a participant, contestant Hoang Ngoc Huyen - a student from the Faculty of Business Administration and Marketing - shared that the competition helped her become more confident when speaking in front of a crowd, and also gave her the opportunity to better understand her own abilities and limitations.

According to the organizers, activities like "The Beauty of Dai Nam" contribute to the training process through experience, helping students develop soft skills, adaptability, and self-improvement.
Following the semi-final round, the organizers selected 22 outstanding contestants to advance to the final round. The final is scheduled for April 22nd, featuring a comprehensive investment in stage design, sound, and lighting, along with the participation of a panel of professional judges and renowned guest singers.
The Top 22 contestants will continue to receive comprehensive training in catwalk skills, stage presence, and etiquette, while also participating in charitable activities to spread the spirit of sharing and responsibility to the community. This is expected to be a highlight of the competition, where contestants clearly demonstrate their skills, confidence, and maturity.
