Dai Nam University organized the National Scientific Conference "Logistics and Green Transport" and signed a training cooperation agreement with 05 large enterprises.

Dai Nam University (DNU) has just successfully organized the National Scientific Conference “Logistics and Green Transport”, gathering nearly 30 training institutions and many experts and businesses in the industry. In addition to the practical academic presentations, the conference also marked the signing ceremony of cooperation between DNU and 5 large enterprises, opening up internship and job opportunities for students and affirming the training orientation linked to practice, for sustainable development.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Principal of Dai Nam University delivered the opening speech at the Workshop.
The event was co-organized by the Faculty of Logistics and International Business and the Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology.
The conference is an important academic activity, aiming to create a forum connecting schools - scientists - managers - businesses and students, to exchange and share research and practical solutions towards the goal of green transformation and sustainable development in the fields of logistics and transportation - industries that are playing a pivotal role in the global supply chain.
The workshop brought together nearly 30 training institutions and many experts and businesses in the industry.
Gathering nearly 100 delegates - connecting widely throughout the Logistics industry ecosystem
The workshop attracted nearly 100 delegates from state management agencies, the Vietnam Logistics Human Resources Development Association (VALOMA), the Hanoi Logistics Association (HNLA), businesses, experts, scientists and nearly 30 training institutions nationwide. The large and dedicated presence of the professional community contributed to creating a vibrant academic atmosphere, affirming the urgency, inevitable trend and appeal of the topic of "green transport" in the context of global logistics changing strongly.
In her opening speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang – President of Dai Nam University emphasized : “Green transformation is no longer a choice, but a responsibility – an irreversible trend. Today’s conference is not only a place for academic exchange, but also clearly demonstrates the innovative, interdisciplinary and practical orientation of a modern university.”
Substantive, practical academic forum
The workshop includes 2 in-depth discussion sessions:
Session 1: “Green transformation and digital transformation in the logistics industry”, with presentations from Dr. Le Quang Trung (VIMC), Mr. Nguyen Tuan Lam (Onelog), Dr. Nguyen Duy Hong (YCH/FPT University) – focusing on analyzing digitalization trends, using electric vehicles and building a green logistics chain associated with raising public awareness.
Session 2: “Green Transport – Possibilities and Challenges”, with practical research from Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Van Nhu (University of Transport), Master. Tran Van Mung (College of Transport Central 2), Master. Vu Thi Dong (Thanh Dong University) on fuel consumption simulation models, alternative energy potential and key technical factors for green transport.
The two sessions demonstrated the intersection between theory and practice, between academia - technology - policy, opening up many valuable suggestions in developing a sustainable logistics and transport ecosystem in Vietnam.
Signing cooperation agreement – Expanding connection between schools and businesses
An important highlight of the conference was the signing ceremony of cooperation between Dai Nam University and 5 large enterprises in the industry: Onelog, Viettel Logistics, HCIT, Con Ong Supply Chain and S&T Logistics.
Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation officially becomes a strategic partner of Dai Nam University.
Dai Nam University signed a cooperation agreement with Con Ong Supply Chain Solutions Company Limited.
Onelog Vietnam Technology Joint Stock Company officially becomes a partner of Dai Nam University.
Dai Nam University cooperates with S&T Logistics and Trading Services Company Limited.
DNU cooperates with HCIT Joint Stock Company.
This is a concrete demonstration of the school’s practical training orientation – from theory to the labor market, from the lecture hall to the supply chain. This signing activity not only contributes to improving the quality of training and professional practice for students, but also affirms the commitment to accompany businesses in the strategy of developing green and sustainable human resources.
Connecting knowledge - Spreading human values
In addition to professional activities, the conference is also an opportunity to spread humanistic values and share knowledge when the Faculty of Logistics and International Business and the Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology were honored to receive many valuable specialized books donated by scientists and experts attending the program.
In her closing remarks, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang expressed her deep gratitude to the delegates, experts, universities and businesses who contributed to the success of the conference.
