Dai Nam University brings flipped classroom into IT training - combining AI and business

Instead of going to class to listen to lectures and then doing homework at home like the traditional way of learning, the flipped classroom model helps students proactively learn knowledge at home . Class time is spent on discussion, exchange and practice with the lecturer. This approach not only encourages students to practice critical thinking and self-study skills, but also gives teachers more space to accompany, suggest and guide deeper into each problem.
At Dai Nam University, the flipped classroom model has been implemented in the Software Technology course of the Faculty of Information Technology. In parallel, the school has increased the application of AI and business connections to create a comprehensive learning environment.
During an experiential learning session at VTI Company with the topic "Business Analyst (BA) profession", students of class KHMT17-01 had the opportunity to understand more deeply about the job, requirements and career prospects - things that are difficult to fully demonstrate in books.
Dr. Tran Dang Cong - Head of the Faculty of Information Technology shared: “Innovation in methods is the responsibility of the school and the faculty in training high-quality digital human resources. The flipped classroom helps students practice critical thinking, self-study skills, teamwork and especially the ability to apply AI technology. With the support of businesses, the gap between theory and practice is clearly narrowed.”
Students also clearly feel the value of this model:
- Knowledge is reinforced from self-study and classroom discussion.
- Professional skills are developed through business guidance.
- Capacity to apply new technology, especially AI, is enhanced.
Tung - a student of class KHMT17-01 shared after the experience: "Listening directly to experts talk about the Business Analyst profession helped me visualize the job and career orientation more clearly. I feel more proactive, learning both theory and experience, which is very practical for the future."
With the motto "Knowledge comes from the classroom - Experience comes from businesses - Value comes from the combination", Dai Nam University persistently pursues the path of innovation: enhancing technology application, linking training with practice and accompanying students on the journey of learning - starting a business - establishing a career.
