For most of the English Language training programs in universities and institutions today, they only provide basic professional knowledge but do not really focus on the skills to be able to do the job and quickly apply knowledge in the workplace.
In fact, the ability to use foreign languages of the majority of Vietnamese students in general, even students majoring in English in particular, can only do well in English grammar sentences, fill in the blanks with missing words, or mumble a few sentences. However, the English major has the specificity of requiring proficiency in all four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing to be able to apply and work well.
