"Running Towards the Future Together": Nearly 1,000 Dai Nam employees are energized and united in their determination to break through.

There are journeys that are not measured by the number of kilometers traveled, but by the energy and camaraderie brought back. After a year of thousands of hours of lectures, hundreds of activities, and countless efforts to support students, nearly 1,000 faculty members and staff of Dai Nam University (DNU) gathered in Ha Long for their annual retreat in 2026.

People – the starting point of all success.

The 3-day, 2-night trip to the beautiful coastal city of Ha Long was a moment of tranquility for the entire Dai Nam University (DNU) family to recharge, refresh their spirits, and nurture the connections that have become the identity of the University.

This year, with the theme "Running Towards the Future Together," each activity is geared towards a common goal: when the entire system looks in the same direction, the collective will have the strength to go further.

Held at a luxurious 5-star hotel with the theme "Running Towards the Future Together," the 2026 annual company retreat is one of the largest internal activities of Dai Nam University. This is not only an activity to care for the spiritual well-being of the staff but also part of the organizational culture development strategy, where each member can rest, recharge, strengthen connections, and gain inspiration to embark on a new journey.

After a year of teaching with thousands of hours, hundreds of events, and countless activities accompanying students, this trip is an opportunity for faculty, staff, and employees to temporarily set aside their busy work schedules, spend more time together, listen to each other more, and create beautiful memories for the Dai Nam family.

Speaking at the Gala Dinner, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Board - affirmed:

"People are always the most valuable asset of Dai Nam University. The university aims to build a happy working environment where every faculty member, lecturer, and employee is cared for, developed, and inspired to contribute. When people are happy, the organization will develop sustainably."

According to Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Rector of Dai Nam University, the annual vacation program is not only a welfare activity but also an important link in the strategy of building organizational culture.

"Every faculty member, lecturer, and staff member is a brand ambassador for Dai Nam University. Connection, sharing, and teamwork are the foundation upon which we build a humane, happy, and constantly innovating educational environment."

When all steps move in the same direction

The highlight of this year's program was the Team Building activity on Ha Long beach, with the participation of over 200 staff and lecturers representing faculties, departments, institutes, and centers throughout the university.

Amidst the clear blue sea and golden sunshine, the cheers, enthusiastic applause, and hugs after each challenge transformed the beach into an energetic playground for the entire Dai Nam family.

The most memorable thing wasn't which team won, but how everyone worked together to overcome the gaps that exist in the daily grind of work.

On the beach, age, title, and position seem to disappear. There are young staff members who have just joined Dai Nam University, as well as teachers who have been with the school since its early days. Some run very fast, while others are no longer as energetic as before. But when the signal sounds, they all head towards the same finish line.

Work hard - play hard - be together with all your heart.

Regardless of their position, from school leaders and department heads to faculty and staff, everyone worked together in each part of the competition, sharing responsibilities and encouraging each other to overcome challenges.

Each game is a lesson in trust. Each challenge is an opportunity to strengthen teamwork. Every smile, every drop of sweat, and every handshake becomes a strong bond connecting the members of the Dai Nam family.

Besides Team Building, faculty, staff, and employees also participated in many interactive and experiential activities such as Pickleball, the "Dai Nam Colors Reaching Out to the Great Sea" competition, Gala Dinner, and many other exciting group activities.

Associate Professor Dr. Truong Duc Thao - Head of the Faculty of Business Administration and Marketing, said: "What impressed me most was the incredibly joyful and close-knit atmosphere. We laughed together, played together, and overcame challenges together like family members. After the trip, I feel I have gained a lot more positive energy to start the new academic year."

Not only long-serving staff, but also many young staff and lecturers see this as a valuable opportunity to connect, understand colleagues, and gain a deeper appreciation for the cultural values that have shaped the identity of Dai Nam.

Sharing her thoughts after the program, Ms. Nguyen Hai Linh, a lecturer in the Faculty of Soft Skills Training and Development, said: "The most meaningful aspect of the trip wasn't the games or experiential activities, but the opportunity for everyone to truly listen, share, and support each other. When distances are bridged and understanding is fostered, the team becomes more cohesive. I believe that the positive energy and team spirit cultivated from this trip will further motivate each staff member and lecturer to enter the new academic year with greater determination and inspiration to contribute."

Sharing the same sentiment, Ms. Tran Minh Thuy, a specialist in the Human Resources Department, said: "The trip helped everyone get closer, understand each other better, and created a positive energy to enter the new school year with even greater determination."

Concluding a school year marked by significant achievements in training, scientific research, and student service, the annual retreat not only helps faculty and staff recharge their energy but also provides renewed motivation to embark on a new journey.

Ahead lies the new academic year 2026-2027, a journey to welcome new students of the K20 cohort and the University's new development goals. The lecture halls will once again be lit. Lectures will continue to be delivered with the knowledge, responsibility, and enthusiasm of the staff and lecturers of Dai Nam University.

Carrying the positive energy from Ha Long, each member returned with more enthusiasm, creativity, and a greater readiness to contribute to the development of the school.

The trip has come to an end, but the spirit of "Running Towards the Future Together" will continue to be present in every lecture hall, office, and every activity that supports the learners.

Because a strong team is not built from the most outstanding individuals, but from people who share the same values, beliefs, and goals.
