Pursue a Ph.D. in the U.S. with a Full Scholarship – A Nationwide Opportunity for Lecturers in Collaboration with Dai Nam University

With the goal of enhancing academic qualifications and research capacity among its faculty, Dai Nam University is implementing a program to sponsor lecturers for doctoral studies at the University of Kentucky (USA) under Project 89 of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training.

This is a fully funded scholarship program, jointly administered by Dai Nam University and the University of Kentucky, targeting lecturers who already hold a Master’s degree in fields related to Technology and Engineering.

In an effort to extend this high-quality academic opportunity across the country, Dai Nam University is expanding its recruitment scope to accept applications from lecturers, researchers, and qualified candidates currently working at higher education institutions, research institutes, or professional organizations throughout Vietnam who meet the program's eligibility requirements.

Scholarship Program Details

Each year, the program will select 10 candidates to pursue a Ph.D. program lasting approximately 3.5 years at the University of Kentucky (USA). The scholarship includes:

●     100%  tuition fees for the Ph.D. program; 

●     Monthly living allowance; 

●     Health insurance; round-trip airfare; pasport and visa fees; travel expenses and other training-related costs.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

●     Be a Vietnamese citizen under 40 years of age at the time of application;

●     Hold a Master’s degree in one of the eligible fields listed above;

●     Possess a valid English proficiency certificate (minimum IELTS 6.0-6.5 or equivalent);

●     Meet other admission requirements set by the University of Kentucky;

●     Commit to completing the Ph.D. program and returning to work at Dai Nam University after graduation.

A complete application includes:

●     Completed Application Form (provided template);

●     Academic CV;

●     Certified copies of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees and Transcripts;

●     Proof of Master’s graduation (if official degree not yet issued);

●     Valid English proficiency certificate (can be submitted later, no later than at the time of university application submission).
