Introduction about DNU Youth Union

I. FUNCTIONS
* Represent, take care of and protect the legitimate rights of Union members. 

* Organize activities, create an educational environment for Union members for effective training, contributing to the implementation of local and DNU’s political, economic, cultural - social, national defense and security tasks.

* Coordinate with the authorities, organizations and economic - social groups to perform youth work, actively participate in building and protecting the Union, the students' Associations, Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization, the Party and the Government.

* The Union is a reliable reserve team of the Communist Party of Vietnam, fostering and introducing a contingent of typical union cadres to supplement for the Party, the State and branches. It is worthy of being an organization that actively participates in building the Party, the Government and the Fatherland Front.

II. MISSION

* Implement Ideological and Political Education by motivating Union members to learn the resolutions of the Union, the Party, along with 6 political lessons of the Union.

* Support academic tasks and scientific research. 

* Organize literary activities.

* Implement social volunteering activities.

* Manage and develop DNU clubs.

* Perform the tasks assigned by the Leader of Union and the Board of Directors.

* Coordinate with the Department of Communication and the Office of Admissions in communication and enrollment.

* Coordinate with the Office of Student Affairs in supporting and educating students.

* Consult and propose to the Governing Board and the University Council related action plans.

* In charge of planning, taking Sports teams to participate in student competitions between Universities.

* In charge of Party development towards students.

* Evaluate the activities of the Union at all levels.
