Aiming for the goals of supporting and networking students to alumni, parents, and recruiters to develop together; ensuring that every student of Dai Nam University receive the best career guidance and support since admission to graduation, the Chairman of Dai Nam University Council has signed Decision No. 158/QD-DN on the establishment of Career & Entrepreneurship Center (CEC).
According to statistics of the Training Support and Human Resource Development Centre (Ministry of Education and Training), there are more than 400,000 bachelors every year. However, the unemployment rate accounts for almost 20%. The number of graduates with high competency (having knowledge, language skills and attitudes) that immediately meet job requirements of enterprises accounts for only 5-10%; 30% have 'good' abilities; more than 50% are ‘incompetent’ candidates requiring retraining time at recruitment enterprises.
Such alarming figures concern many Higher education institutes about the cause. It is high time to change training methods and career orientation, promote networking and introduce diverse career opportunities to students while they are on campus. Any training institutes must seriously implement career orientation, professional networking and additional training to help learners do the best in their jobs; focus on connecting learners to families, universities, recruiters and businesses.
Focusing on the mission: "Training graduates to lead fulfilling lives and become upstanding citizens", Dai Nam University constantly innovates training programs, improves the quality of the teaching staff, builds a network of strategic cooperation with prestigious domestic and foreign enterprises, corporations, and training institutes to expand practice, internship and employment opportunities for students. Students are trained according to the demand of business and society; towards the goal that all of the graduates are employed and paid well. Dai Nam University has clarified the establishment of Career & Entrepreneurship Center in Action plan no.5 as a strategic task: "Establishment of Career & Entrepreneurship Center helps students get jobs after graduation". Only when graduates are employed will the University fulfill its training mission - that is also the command the Chairman of the University council assigned to CEC.

Dr. Le Dac Son shared that: “We are committed to accompany and support students to the fullest right from admission until they get hired, not simply giving them Bachelor or Master degrees to complete training tasks. To do that, Dai Nam must establish a Career & Entrepreneurship Center for students and alumni…”
MSc. Pham Thi Dung - Deputy Director of CEC said: “The Center is not only responsible for connecting and offering students jobs, but also a place for generations of alumni to come back and get career benefits from the University's sustainable ecosystem of human resource; creating a circular Job & Startup ecosystem in accordance with the direction of the University Council”.
Development goal - vision to 2028, the Center becomes the most reputable place to support students finding jobs and startups in the Southwest region of Hanoi.
To accomplish the mission of "accompanying and networking students to alumni, parents, and recruiters to grow together for longlife", the Center will carry out the following tasks:
Firstly, support and arrange students for internships and part-time jobs related to their field of study during their studies on campus.
Secondly, create jobs related to their field of study for seniors and alumni.
Thirdly, establish cooperation relationships, build a network system of prestigious and well-known partners in recruiting and training students.
Fourthly, follow-up and acquire enterprises’ feedback regarding students’ internships and work, to either evaluate the effectiveness of internship programs, training programs or improving, innovating training programs.
Fifthly, coordinate and organize contests, supplementary courses and startup projects for students.
At last, organize pre-enterprise training courses for students.
