DNU opens 5-star practice hotel in Tra Co.

In addition to expanding its network of business partnerships, Dai Nam University (DNU) continues to deepen its practical training model by directly managing Tra Co Long Beach Hotel & Resort and turning this 5-star hotel into an interdisciplinary practice environment for students.

On September 26th, Dai Nam University held the opening ceremony for its practical training hotel at Tra Co Long Beach Hotel & Resort, Mong Cai, Quang Ninh.

The distinguishing feature of this model is that Tra Co Long Beach is part of a system directly managed and operated by DNU. Therefore, instead of just sending students to businesses during internships, the university is able to integrate the practical activities of the business into the regular training process.

This is the next step in the development of the practical training ecosystem that DNU is building: in addition to its network of affiliated businesses in many localities, the University is gradually developing practical training environments directly managed by DNU.  

NOT JUST BRINGING STUDENTS TO BUSINESSES - BRINGING BUSINESSES INTO THE CLASSROOM

A 5-star hotel is more than just a reception desk, rooms, or restaurant. It's a business with a full range of operations including management, business, finance and accounting, human resources, marketing and communications, technology, foreign languages, supply chain, customer service, event organization, and more.

Therefore, Tra Co Long Beach is not only a practical training ground for Hotel Management and Tourism and Travel Service students, but it can also become a "business classroom" for many training programs at DNU.

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University emphasized: "Dai Nam not only brings students to businesses, but also brings businesses into the classroom, integrating practical experience into the training process. Located in the Tra Co Long Beach Luxury urban area, near Tra Co Beach, Tra Co Long Beach Hotel & Resort is built on a total project area of 21,422 m², comprising 11 floors, 170 guest rooms and a conference center with a capacity of 500 guests.

There, a practical problem can become a lesson for many industries; a hotel can become a lecture hall for many departments.

EXPANDING LECTURE HALLS OUTSIDE THE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS

With this model, the concept of "classroom" is expanded to include not only classrooms on campus, but also hotels, businesses, and real-world professional environments.
