Dai Nam University students have their thinking "unlocked" by global experiences.
In its journey to train students for an increasingly volatile world, Dai Nam University chooses a path that not only equips them with knowledge but also fosters long-term thinking, personal resilience, and a foundation of sustainable values. The training session "Learning and Doing for the Future," held on January 7th for class officers of cohorts K17, K18, and K19, clearly demonstrates this orientation.

A special academic highlight of the program is the presence of Professor Ha Ton Vinh – an international scholar in the fields of economics, finance, and education, who served as a Special Assistant at the White House (USA) under President Ronald Reagan. The fact that Dai Nam University students have the opportunity to directly engage in dialogue, learn from, and be inspired by a figure who has participated in global policy-making is not only a source of pride but also a testament to the university's educational philosophy: bringing big thinking and international standards to students right from the university lecture halls.
Sharing her thoughts on the program's significance, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong, Vice Rector of Dai Nam University, affirmed: “Dai Nam University not only educates students through classroom learning, but also creates open academic spaces where learners can directly access reputable experts from Vietnam and abroad. Inviting Professor Ha Ton Vinh is the university's way of instilling in students long-term thinking, a global vision, and a foundation of sustainable values to confidently step into the future. ”
When young people's thinking is "unlocked" by global experiences.
Drawing from decades of experience in the international political, economic, and academic environment, Professor Ha Ton Vinh brings to Dai Nam University students not only stories of success, but also experiences of failure and pivotal choices. It is this depth of experience that helps young people understand that maturity is not about finding the shortest path, but about building the right one.
The professor emphasized the two most valuable "intangible assets" that each person possesses: time and reputation. According to him, young people should not trade these two values for short-term choices or superficial glamour, but should instead identify their strengths early on and persistently invest in knowledge, skills, ethics, and kindness – the core foundations of long-term success.

I am very grateful that Dai Nam University provides opportunities for students to access such insightful and practical perspectives right from their time in university.”
Spreading knowledge – laying the foundation for a long-term future.
As part of the program, Professor Ha Ton Vinh donated many valuable books to the University – the culmination of decades of research, teaching, and international work.
