For example, for Medicine and Pharmacy, candidates applying through academic transcripts or HSA must meet the requirements regarding 12th-grade academic performance and the specified score threshold; Medical programs taught in English require candidates to have an English proficiency certificate at level 4/6.

The 2026 admission scores show a clear differentiation by subject group, while also opening up many options for candidates in the fields of Health, Engineering - Technology, Economics - Business, Social Sciences and Humanities, Languages, Fine Arts and Design.

Learner-centered training

In the context of higher education shifting strongly from knowledge-based to competency-based training, many prospective students today are not only concerned with "which university to get into," but also with "where to study to gain competitive skills after graduation." This is also the direction that Dai Nam University has pursued for many years.

In 2026, Dai Nam University will enroll students in 56 majors and training programs, in the fields of Health, Engineering - Technology, Economics - Business, Social Sciences - Humanities, Languages, and Fine Arts - Design.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang, Rector of Dai Nam University, the university's educational philosophy is student-centered, respecting differences and creating conditions for each student to develop according to their abilities, strengths, and career goals.

"What we aim for is not to train students who are all the same, but to help each individual discover their strengths, develop their unique identity, and turn it into a competitive advantage in the future," shared Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang.

Training based on output standards, with increased emphasis on practical application.

The training programs at Dai Nam University are built on the OBE (Outcome-Based Education) approach, using learning outcomes and competencies as the basis for program design.

Health science students "learn by doing" at the modern preclinical center right on campus.

Following this direction, the school increases the amount of practical training time, with the published practical training rate exceeding 50%, and also organizes opportunities for students to access the environment of businesses, hospitals, laboratories, and practical training centers during their studies.

Some programs are designed with shortened training times of 0.5 to 1 year, except for the Medical program. According to the university, the adjustment of duration aims to allow students to complete the program sooner and reduce study time and costs.

In addition to specialized knowledge, the training program also emphasizes foreign languages, digital skills, creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to apply artificial intelligence (AI) in learning and work.

Engineering and technology students practice in high-tech laboratories.

Businesses are partnering with students right from the classroom.

Dai Nam University has built a collaborative ecosystem with hundreds of domestic and international businesses, corporations, hospitals, and organizations.

Students have the opportunity to intern and gain professional experience at various organizations such as Samsung, LG, Sun Group, FPT Long Chau, Bach Mai Hospital, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, and Xanh Pon General Hospital... At the same time, the university expands cooperation with universities and businesses in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan (China), the United States, Australia, and many other countries to create more opportunities for learning, academic exchange, and international employment.

Businesses partner in training.

According to the school's representatives, the goal is not only to help students find jobs after graduation but also to help them understand their chosen profession, love their work, and develop professional skills while they are still in university.

Quality is proven by the success of the learners.

According to a survey for the 2025-2026 academic year, 95% of Dai Nam University students will have jobs after graduation, with many working in their specialized fields at reputable businesses, hospitals, and organizations.

Notably, the school's first Medical Doctor program made a significant mark with 100% of graduates achieving a GPA of "Good" or higher, and 13 students who applied for residency programs were successfully admitted, including a candidate who became the top-scoring resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

This is seen as clear evidence of a training orientation that prioritizes professional competence and the ability to meet practical requirements as criteria for evaluating quality.

Scholarship policies, financial aid, and facilities.

In 2026, Dai Nam University will allocate 55 billion VND to its scholarship and financial aid fund, offering 13 scholarship programs for new students. In addition to scholarships, the university stated that tuition fees will not increase throughout the training program, thus helping students and their families to be more proactive in planning their finances for the entire course.

A scholarship fund of 55 billion VND is available for new students of the K20 cohort.

Along with financial policies, the school continues to invest in facilities on its nearly 10-hectare campus, with training-related amenities such as smart lecture halls, a digital library, a preclinical center, a pharmacy practice center, a high-tech laboratory system, studios, etc. This system is used for teaching, learning, and practical activities for students.

According to representatives from Dai Nam University, in the context of rapidly changing labor market demands, the training process needs to focus on adaptability, continuous learning, and the application of knowledge to practice, in addition to entrance exam results.

Unleash your identity - illuminate your journey with Dai Nam University.

“Applying for admission to Dai Nam University is choosing a program and training environment that suits each student's learning and career goals. The university aims to create conditions for students to develop knowledge, skills, and practical experience throughout their studies,” shared Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang.
