Dai Nam Family Day 2026: From each happy family to a happy Dai Nam.

There's one thing that we all understand more as we mature: behind every success in our careers lies the love, support, and companionship of our families. No matter where we go or what we do, family is always the place to return to, the place where we receive unconditional love, and the support system that helps us become stronger in the face of life's challenges.

The DNU Family Day 2026, themed "Where Happiness Begins," attracted a large number of parents and children of the university's staff and faculty.

In celebration of Vietnamese Family Day on June 28th, Dai Nam University organized the DNU Family Day 2026 with the theme "Where Happiness Begins," attracting the participation of numerous faculty members, staff, and their family members.

More than just an internal bonding activity, the event is also an opportunity for the school to honor family values – an important foundation for creating a happy, humane, and sustainable working environment.

When two roofs meet

If family is where each person is nurtured, then Dai Nam University is where each staff member, lecturer, and employee can contribute, grow, and realize their own positive values. On this special day, these two families had the opportunity to connect and share in a space filled with emotion.

Dr. Tran Hai Duong and his younger sister, Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Mai, are one of the exceptional sibling pairs at Dai Nam University, as both hold leadership roles in the Department of Korean Language and Culture.

For the first time, many grandparents, parents, spouses, and children were able to step into their loved ones' workplaces together; meet colleagues they had only seen in everyday stories, and directly experience the space where their loved ones are working and contributing.

Mr. Vu Dang Tuan Anh - Secretary of the Youth Union of Dai Nam University and his wife, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Hoa - lecturer in the Faculty of Pharmacy, are one of the special families of Dai Nam University, as both are former students and are currently working and contributing to the very university they once attended.

Short videos capturing the sharing of faculty, staff, and employees of Dai Nam University, along with the innocent words of the children, brought many emotions to the attendees.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, a specialist in the Human Resources Department, and her son, Mr. Ho Viet Son Tung, an IT specialist, are a beautiful example of the multi-generational bond under the roof of Dai Nam University.

It is a source of pride for family members to witness their parents working at Dai Nam University; it is the image of many couples, generations of mothers and daughters, siblings working together under one roof; and it is also the simple happiness of parents realizing that their daily efforts are seen and remembered by their children.

The happiness of the school begins with the happiness of each family.

A happy school is not only defined by achievements in education or growth figures, but more importantly, by the fact that the people working there feel respected, cared for, and happy.

At Dai Nam University, the development of the university is always closely linked to the development of each staff member, lecturer, employee, and their family. Behind every teacher, every dedicated staff member, or every employee silently contributing to the overall development, there is always a strong family support system.

To have a happy Dai Nam University, it must begin with happy families.

The DNU Family Day is organized as a token of gratitude to those loved ones – those who have shared and supported each member of Dai Nam University, enabling them to work, contribute, and grow with peace of mind.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa, Vice President of the University Council of Dai Nam University, shared her thoughts on the value of family and the spirit of unity within the Dai Nam family at the Dai Nam Family Day 2026.

Sharing her thoughts at the program, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa, Vice President of the School Board, stated that a happy family is one where each person understands, tolerates, compromises, and lives responsibly towards one another. According to her, when each person sets aside their ego a little to think more about each other, the family will become a place of peace and happiness.

Dai Nam University awards prizes to the children of its staff, lecturers, and employees who have achieved excellent academic results.

That is precisely the value that Dai Nam University aims to build, because a happy Dai Nam must begin with happy families – the foundation upon which every faculty member, lecturer, and employee can confidently dedicate themselves, working together to build a humane, united, and loving work environment.

Spreading love, cultivating lasting values.

One of the most meaningful moments of the program was the ceremony honoring students who achieved good and outstanding academic results in the 2025-2026 school year.

The applause and proud gazes of parents as they watched their children step onto the stage to receive their awards created special emotions for the event, because more than any award, it was the result of love, support, and education within each family.

In addition, there will be artistic performances by the children of faculty, staff, and employees; a family photo contest; experiential activities and folk games; a space for expressing love; and many other entertainment programs for children.

Each activity aims towards the common goal of creating more moments for family members to be together, listen to each other, and cherish beautiful memories.

Where happiness begins

Someone once said, "Family may not be the most perfect place, but it's always the place that loves us the most." Perhaps that's the message that DNU Family Day 2026 wants to convey.

Happiness doesn't begin with grand things, but is nurtured by a caring glance, a word of encouragement, a family meal, or simply the moments spent with loved ones.

The magic shows, animal circus acts, and many fun games brought joyful laughter to the children.

These simple values inspire each member of Dai Nam University to study, work, contribute, and grow.

The DNU Family Day 2026 has come to an end, but the smiles, hugs, touching moments, and beautiful memories will remain. More than just a celebration, this was an opportunity for everyone to cherish their families even more, to love their home at DNU even more, and to together build a happy working environment – where every day at school is not just about work, but also about returning to a loving extended family.
