By the year 2023, Dai Nam University will welcome 50 Nigerian students to study the Bachelor of Business Administration program

Considering educational internationalization as an important development strategy to raise the training quality, enhance the position in international rankings, and become an ideal destination for global students, Dai Nam University pays special attention to develop and expand strategic cooperation relationships with enterprises, research institutes, multinational economic groups, international universities and academies. Following the previous joint training activities, Dai Nam University signed an international training cooperation agreement with the Nigeria - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NVCCI) and the Foreign Trade Academy of Nigeria (FTA) on December 9th, 2022. This is considered a significant event in the strategy of building a real, modern, diverse, flexible and connected training ecosystem.

Attending the ceremony, at Dai Nam University side, there were Dr. Le Dac Son – Chairman of the Board, the Board of Directors along with the Heads of Departments and Faculties at Dai Nam University.

On the partner side, there were Mr. Oyeladun Oladele Akinsemoyin - Chairman of Nigeria - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NVCCI), Rector of Foreign Trade Academy of Nigeria (FTA); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Phuoc Minh - Director of Institute for Africa and Middle East Studies (IAMES), Chairman of Vietnam - Africa Economic Cooperation Alliance (VAECA); Dr. Le Quy Kha - Vice Chairman of VAECA; MSc. Le Quang Thang - Vice Chairman of VAECA with the Heads of Departments, lawyers and experts of VAECA.

Dr. Le Dac Son affirmed that the Signing Ceremony will mark a historical development milestone for the parties 

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Dac Son insisted that the signing of international cooperation agreements with the Nigeria - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Foreign Trade Academy of Nigeria is a significant progress in the educational internationalization pathway of Dai Nam University, which will lay the solid foundation to Dai Nam University as an international university in Vietnam.

“We are highly confident to meet the quality of training and be a reliable destination for Nigerian students with modern facilities, effective training programs and a team of well - experienced lecturers specializing in foreign programs.” Dr. Le Dac Son claimed.

The signing cooperation agreement between two sides would allow Nigerian students to study Business Administration program, with a training period of 4 years. After graduation, Nigerian students would be awarded Bachelor degrees by Dai Nam University. In addition, students of Dai Nam University also have the opportunity to transfer to the Foreign Trade Academy of Nigeria and receive its international degrees. The two sides also agreed to organize short-term training courses on a regular basis, fostering professional capacity for learners sent from Nigeria to Vietnam.

After the ceremony, the Heads of the Foreign Trade Academy of Nigeria and representatives of VAECA visited the modern equipment as well as learning and practice facilities of Dai Nam University. Mr. Oyeladun Oladele Akinsemoyin highly appreciated the scale of the University and believed that it would be an ideal learning environment for Nigerian students in the upcoming time.

In the academic year 2023 - 2024, Dai Nam University is about to welcome the first Bachelor of Business Administration class for Nigerian students with a number of 30 - 50 students.

For the purpose of implementing educational internationalization effectively, Dai Nam University will continue to expand training cooperation with prestigious universities and academies in the UK, USA, Australia, France, Korea, Japan, China, etc in the coming time, which helps to enhance its position in the top university rankings of Vietnam; contribute to promoting Vietnam's cooperative relations with other countries.
